'The cabin was clean, great information in the guest book, and the ferry ride process was flawless. We had an amazing time kayaking, walking/exploring around the island, watching the local wildlife (seals, deer, tide pools and more), sitting in the hot tub and feeding the deer. This is an amazing spot and would recommend it to everyone. It is a wonderful break away from the every day life. '

'Terrific cozy cabin, amazing view of the water, comfy beds, extremely well appointed kitchen (everything you might need and more), comfy beds, dog friendly (there’s even a large crate and several dog beds/blankets available). Peloton bike in the shed. Nice deck, fire pit, short path to the beach. A/C window units throughout. We brought our kayaks- saw lots of sea lions! Lovely and responsive hosts - thank you for the delicious wine!! We very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely book...

'We came in town to photograph a wedding and couldn’t believe how incredible this place was! The view from the hot tub of fireworks on 4th of July was beyond amazing. The space is beautifully appointed and the bird watching was a real treat. Did I mention the sunsets?!?! The best in the west!!'

'We were only the second guests to stay at this home. Only a few things needed improved on which I let the owner know of. Would highly recommend this home. Cute park just steps away if you have little ones. Close to places we needed to go to but far enough away from busy areas. '

'This beautiful cottage was oozing charm. The 1920s bakery turned cottage was the nicest vacation rental we have ever had the pleasure of staying in. We have stayed in vacation rentals from England to Australia and none had the coziness and charm that this lovely cottage has. We strongly recommend anyone traveling to the greater Tacoma area to give this place a try. As VRBO owners ourselves we will definitely be returning guests.'

'We had a group of 10 people, including children and adults. This was a great accomodation to fit us all. We added a tucked away futon to the twin bedroom and two kids slept on the L- shaped couch instead of the pull out sofa because it was quick and easy. Lots of linens and towels were available. Host brought us dish soap when we were running out. The arcade machines were a hit with the kids. The best part of the location is that it's a block or two away from Lake Josephine that doesn't have...

'We really enjoyed our time at the cabin. The setting was restful and loved spending some time outdoors on the lake. The house was also very comfortable and well organized. We didn’t spend much time at the cabin due to graduation activities but appreciated our stay very much.'
