'The hotel, though relatively new, casts itself as an old hunting lodge quite convincingly. In fact the land belonged to the Maharaja of Orchha, developed by his great grandson, and includes some small aged temples in and around the property A river view room is a must. 'Though this property is relatively new there is a lack of proper management and ownership. Room had sewage odors coming in. No running hot water, and on top of it the service staff unaccepted the fact that there’s no hot water. We wasted our morning time, peace of mind in the midst of our family trip and hotel staff offered free cup of tea (wow) to compensate it. Overall, I won’t recommend this property they are not worth the charges they ask for.'
