'Absolutely wonderful stay for a short stay. The only fault were the pillows…felt like sleeping on a cement bag but that’s a personal preference .'

'Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Top ontbijt. Leuke buurt.

'Very English, feels a bit dated, time stood still since eighties'

'Heel erg fijn hotel. Ligging geweldig, parkeren heel goedkoop in garage.

'Well it was weird, felt like I was the only one in the hotel... No one at desk when I arrived, had to message on the expedia website to have someone come over to get my key... Saw no one the rest of my Time there. Weird... But clean and it did the job.'

'For the price we got good value for our money'

'In the elevator of this hotel is a big sign requesting a five star review, however no one at this establishment puts any effort into Five Star service. Upon checking in the reception did not advise us that the restaurant was open for dinner or that breakfast was available. We were not told that our room included a free upgraded WiFi. When we entered the room we discovered that the hand soap was empty. Later when we went to shower we found that the shower soap was also empty and that we only had...

'This was the second time I’ve stayed at Florence Gardens, and it’s proved to be as exceptional as I found it on my first visit. The rooms are extremely comfortable and warm, the staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly, and I won’t hesitate to stay there again on my next visit to Portsmouth.'

'Wij komen hier al 4 jaar. Het hotel is geweldig!!! Personeel super vriendelijk.

'Property need maintenance floor ve deep dip hiding and covering with carpet near dinning area i was about to tripped furniture snd fan was wobbly however it was ok for one night stay. We had good sleep peaceful area.'

'For those planning to visit the dockyard, you can't get any better. We had a great view of HMS Warrior from our window. The hotel is directly across the street from the rail station and the bus station and about 100 yards from the main entrance to the dockyard. The owner was very nice and accommodating. The room was very modern and well kept.'
