Ontvangst en service prima! Echter zijn de kamers aan een renovatie toe!! Verouderde airco dat veel lawaai maakte en er stroomde water vanuit de airco. De badkamer was schoon maar verouderd. Tijdens het douchen stroomde het water de badkamer in. Genoodzaakt doeken op grond te leggen tijdens het douchen. Prima service ook bij het zwembad. Verder lieve aardige mensen! Dat maakte het verblijf goed.

Verouderd. De airco werkt niet goed en zit vol schimmel. Staat een luchtontvochtiger naast die echt heel veel herrie maakt en niet stopt als de bak vol is en dus overstroomt. Bedden doorgezakt. Toilet spoelt niet door. Raam.kan niet open.Tijdens douchen loopt de hele badkamer onder water. Geen tekenen gezien van enige schoonmaakactiviteit. Personeel niet behulpzaam (op een enkeling na).

Heel erg fijn hotel dichtbij het strand.
Heel erg fijn hotel dichtbij het strand. Ook de bars en restaurants zijn dichtbij. Oranjestad is iets verder weg maar met bus of taxi prima te doen. Kamers kunnen een upgrade gebruiken maar zijn nog steeds erg comfortable. Douche is erg fijn. De poolbar van het restaurant sluite wat vroeg vonden wij. De barmannen waren echt geweldig. Veel tips gekregen voor het eiland en uiteraard heerlijke cocktails. (Ramphes en Juan) Ook het eten wat je besteld hier is erg lekker.

Basic three star hotel
The hotel qualifies for the three stars, but nothing more. The location is not on the beach as you may expect from the name but the beach is close. It is in a lively neighborhood called 'High rise hotels' with lots of restaurants and souvenir shops. The restaurant for the hotel is on a street, lively in the evening but with the beach so close you'd prefer the sound of the waves, not the cars. Room is basic. Shower in bathtub, shaky sliding wardrobe doors, noisy AC. No fridge in the room. View against a wall. Not some place I'd bring a partner. The hotel is not cheap and for a dream holiday: spend a few bucks more across the street.

Nice location, free parking, but outdated
Staff is friendly, but hotel needs renovation. Everything looks old and outdated. Airco was noisy en there was no mini-fridge in the room. Location is perfect, close to the beach and the restaurants and bars.

Goeie accomodatie.
Het is niet de eerste keer dat ik deze hotel ervaart dus het was een makkelijke keuze. De lokatie is the beste met alles in de omgeving, restaurants, winkelcentrums en discotheeks. Hun bed is uitstekend and de service ook. Volgens mij alleen breakfast moeten se overwegen. In plaats van continental naar american breakfast. Anders dan dat geweldig.

Slechte prijs kwaliteit verhouding. Het enige plus punt was het kingsize bed. Verder kamer in oude vieze staat. Met s nachts harde muziek vanuit de lobby die niet zachter kon. Ook erg sober ontbijt, had voor deze prijs (250 euro per nacht) wel een uitgebreider ontbijt verwacht. Inplaats daarvan kreeg ik wat sneetje toast, een droog mini mini croissantje een droge muffin met daarbij 1 kuipje boter en 1 kuipje jam... Erg jammer en teleurstellend verblijf gezien het bedrag dat ik heb betaald.

hotelroom is odd and was dirty. it past his best time long before. the breakfast was awfull. a basket of white bread and some butter and jam of arripa with cheese. We were here with christmas, not even a little cookie of something to celebrate. Taxi of the hotel is very expensive 28 dollar. you will be cheaper off if you hold a taxi on the street. NOT AGAIN THIS HOTEL.

Kamer was redelijk uitgerust maar de uitrusting (zoals airconditioning) was erg oud en egbrekkig. Door de gebrekkige kwaliteit was de kamerprijs per nacht veel te hoog.

Room was nice and updated, overall smelled a little like mildew/mold in rt the humidity I believe. Shower leaked onto the floor but nothing some towels couldn't handle. Pool was very nice, the music was a little loud at times. Very close to all restaurants and the beach. Very nice that their was an area on the beach specifically for the hotel. All staff I came in contact with were very nice and accommodating. Would definitely return in the future.

The pool bar staff was very attentive and very nice. The staff at the front desk was the same. Our rooms could have been cleaned better. Had to ask everyday for either a towel or tp. Floors could be swept bc of sand being drug in from the beach. Had newly remodeled room nice but not like the pictures…Location was perfect…lots of bars and restaurants right out the door and beach was only 2 blocks down…perfect location! Air conditioning didn’t work very well and not at all on one day…. but plenty of hot water. WiFi didn’t work unless in lobby and could not get tv to work but that was not a big deal for us for we usually turn on only before bed. Went to local nightlife….maybe would stay again but definitely needs a few more amenities….microwave…better housekeeping and air conditioning working all the time! And WiFi and better phone service.

The location is great, right in the middle of the Palm Beach Strip, easy to walk anywhere. The pool was so nice. Staff were super friendly. We were in a non upgraded room, and I would never do that again, the first room was terrible, not the cleanest and so old and falling apart, they moved us to a different room which was better, but still not one of the upgraded rooms. I saw pics of an upgraded room, and they are beautiful, so knowing they will all be upgraded in the next several months, I would definitely stay again

There advertisement lacked in accuracy. No gym, and no wifi in the room. Very loud night life however you are right in the heart of it. The room was clean and bed was comfy! The staff was very friendly.

Upon checking in, I encountered several issues in the hotel room, including wet floors, a dirty environment, and a dusty fan. When I contacted the front desk through WhatsApp, they ignored my message, and the situation escalated when water flooded the floor and walls, making it difficult for me to charge my phone. The maintenance manager blamed me for the incident, stating that I changed the AC setting from 22 to 24 degrees. Despite agreeing to pay a fee to upgrade my room, the hotel doubled the cost at checkout. The manager accused me of lying and told me they took pictures of the AC controls changed from 22 to 24 degrees, even though I only changed the AC setting because the room was cold. I paid the fee and moved to a different room, but I was scared to use the AC, which was very cold all night. Aside from 2 of the friendly staff members, nothing else was good about my stay. The management staff were awful. I Don't like to give bad reviews and Don't go back to places if I Don't like them. But this time, I think everyone should know how awful this place is. Stay away. Stay there only if you want to be treated like a 2nd class citizen and are willing not to use the AC and possibly damage your belongings with water.

The staff at the front desk and by the pool area was great,especially Anderson. They were very kind and helpful. What i didn't like was the WIFI services,not to say anything bad. Nice property but rooms are outdated if you do t select the renovated options. No coffee maker or Microwave in rooms although they offered fresh coffee and lemon water each day in lobby area. There was also a Microwave in lobby area that staff could warm your food up for you. The air conditioner kept going on and off thru out the night so we woke up hot. The bathroom shower was drawing slowly also. The pool area with bar was nice! Overall it was a good choice due to location since it’s walkable to everything and staff was great.

Chipped paint, door wouldn’t lock in the first room, second room they moved me to had condensation water marks on the wall, and the room smelled so musky I felt like I couldn’t breathe even with a dehumidifier. Floor would get slick from humidity. The floor in the bathroom pools with water after a shower, so the floor gets soaked. And the pillows are so uncomfortable. They cleaned up the lobby area a lot which is nice. But the carpets and paint in the hallways and rooms are outdated and in poor condition. They post other misleading pictures of their sister hotel the Wyndham on their website and it makes you think those are the rooms will you get and that is not Brickell Bay. Should have just paid the extra $500 and stayed at Playa Linda.

So they are in the middle of renovation and the room they had us in was not quite complete. There was no handle on the sliding bathroom door, no full length mirror and no telephone. The bed pillows had seen better days. Wyndham has a long way to go if they want to get top dollar for a night.

We booked a newly renovated premium room. They put us on the first floor. We had no live TV ( which the web site said we would) we had no internet for the first week until a maintenance man got us a router. The bathroom shower had no places for us to put soap or shampoo The only good thing I can say is the workers are nice.

Emilaine was amazing she is very knowledgeable about her profession and cares deeply for the customers. However this property has not invested too much of their profits back into the hotel. Much of it is rusted, used and abused. Our first full day we tried to use the pool and there was white film in the water all of the stair access area. The white chairs outside by the pool area are incredibly worn down and the bars are felt all across your body. Hallway carpets had areas missing and other areas mismatched carpet (at least on the second floor) The grounds were relatively clean with minimal garbage. On the 2nd floor the ice machine was not working when we arrived on March 19 and 20. Finally on our 3 rd day we were able to have ice! The first day they serviced our room and did not put fresh towels back in we had to ask the front desk about towels to shower. The swim towels they didn’t have enough of them, only at 7 am was you able to maybe receive a fresh towel for the day!

We had a wonderful stay at Brickell Bay. We're not very picky, we just needed a place to sleep and shower while we went around the island. The location is very central to lots of shops and restaurants. You walk out and turn the corner and have a great selection of food, bars and very lively nightlife. This area does get a bit rowdy at night, but in our room it was not an issue. I'm sure if you got one of the rooms facing the bar area it night get loud. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. One important thing is to remember to empty out the dehumidifier. We didnt know this was a thing and we had a very uncomfortable 2nd night, where everything was wet. After we realized this, we didnt have any issues. The hotel is about a 3 minute walk to the beach, so its very convenient. The staff were very friendly and willing to help. Definitely recommend your stay if you just need a nice clean room to stay while you explore Aruba.

The room I got was right next to reception and couldn’t sleep at all as it was so noisy. I could hear phone calls and conversations between staff all night long. Also, the bathroom was leaking and they couldn’t fix it.

Love the location and staff. Even though they have renovated rooms, they charge the same price for the outdated ones. My friend and I paid $300 per night for a room that was damp with moisture, no working wifi, fuzzy tv channels, a shower that has standing water to your ankles and a full size bed on a queen box spring. They give a daily voucher for complimentary breakfast at a restaurant next door with slow and poor service.

Not impressed at all. AC doesn’t work. It was disgustingly hot in our room the entire time. The shower leaked so every time we showered, the bathroom floor would be flooded. You could hear every noise outside of our room from the hallway to the restaurants. Simply do not recommend even for those who are okay with staying at “ok” places.

My room was not ready upon arrival at 4:30 pm when check in is 3. They then rush cleaned our room and did a horrible job while we stood outside the room waiting. The bathroom had no toilet paper holder, no toilet paper and no garbage can. We had to ask for everything everyday. They would clean our room and not leave clean towels. We also had no phones in our room. The staff was helpful but I would not come back
