'We recently enjoyed a relaxing week in Sámara at Cima del Mar, and it was everything we wanted. The apartment was clean, the kitchen was well-supplied, and the bed was comfortable. The view from the balcony is amazing, and offers incredible views of both sunrise and sunset. The rooftop area provides a quiet place to enjoy the shade and breeze, even in the hottest part of the day. The pool is perfect for a quick swim to cool off and enjoy the view. 'The road to the place was a little bumpy and we weren't fully sure we were going to the right place, but it was a beautiful space. Not a ton of room for suitcase or storage if staying a long time (we had 4 people and didn't unpack).However, the pool was great, the place was clean and a lovely place to stay! We felt safe. '

'Verbo's communication app didn't work for me. So we had a hard time getting our checkin information. We got it 20 minutes after we arrived through a tenant. Our unit really stunk of fish 🐟 that the previous tenant had cooked. Even the towels smelled. Steve offered to upgrade us to a better villa, but we were too tired after a long day of travel. 'We only stayed one night as this was a landing spot for us after La Fortuna and before moving on to the south. I booked it mainly for the ability to do laundry and space to move around. We enjoyed soaking our feet in the pool this morning before rushing off to our next destination. The location for different beaches and near great food and shopping was great.The host was very fast and clear in responses.'

'Wow! This place has amazing views and is a short hike to town. Alejandro the property manger is like a concierge…he knows how to direct you to anything you want to know or do. The pool is awesome and steps away from the ground floor apartment. We took a shuttle to Sámara and were ok hiking up the hill to the apartment. But if that isn’t your thing, a 4 wheel drive would be necessary, like a quad or SUV. Highly recommend.'

'Yes the host was fine. I'm not sure if he is new to renting a VRBO, but the condo itself had some issues. We did have some significant issues with the address to the unit., which took us hours to find in the dark with no street signs and no cell service. Some of the dishes in the cupboards had food particles on them. Pretty disgusting. They had to be rewashed before we could use them. There were not many cooking utensils in the drawer to cook with.
