'The property and staff were nice..A few take aways,
1) 3pm Check-in means 3pm no flexilbilty on that,,
2) After we checked-in the two specialty restaraunts were already booked up. for our entire stay..(our stay was from Mon_Fri.)...Bummer.
3)The resort sits on the side of a mountain, so the pool and beach are a distance..so you need to be in decent shape for the hike back..'
'The hotel itself is decent. It seems quite old and not super clean. The pool area is nice and the breakfast is nice. After crossing the street the beautifull beach is there. Top service of this hote is that it provides free beach gear. Free surfboards, free bodyboards, beach chairs, beach tennis sets, snorkel gear, everything you need for a fun day at the beach! '

'A little oasis! Gorgeous garden with a pool. The staff is superkind! Special thank you to Nancy, Mario and Endy! The complimentary dinner is sometimes great, sometimes mediocre but breakfast is always terrific. The room was spacious and had a nice balcony. The beach is frequented by locals and tourists alike and a great place for surfing from beginners upward. The hotel's beach area is very nice with a small pool. Only minus is the costs of tours and activities. Tamarindo has something to offer...

'This was one of the most unique places we have ever stayed. The staff was excellent. The rooms were great. The breakfast was light and gets you going. The spa was great and the pool was perhaps the best we have ever been in. The staff is accommodating and made our honeymoon truly special.
One thing, do not leave any food items open in your room, the insects will find a way. That was completely our fault. :-)'
