'The plusses: great chef with creative menu, overal excellent food. Staff was very welcoming and mostly super friendly. The location is breathtaking and extraordinary. Although not adults-only, it is quiet and calm. Why that is important? Because the bird life is abundant! The minuses: the rooms need to be updated and modernized. Bathroom was not at all to standard. You pay literally for everything, starting with breakfast and bottled water! Being a Marriott gold member did not come with any...

'This is the most beautiful, peaceful and well designed property. Maria and Bathsheba were both so kind and helpful. I stayed in two different rooms, and each one was immaculate. The pools were both beautiful and the grounds were peaceful and perfect. The kitchens in both rooms had everything I wanted and needed to cook meals. I cannot say enough good things about this lovely hotel, that is just a few minutes walk to the beach and to town.'
