'The teepee was lovely but there were fireworks going off at night (stayed in June) and dogs barking so it wasn't that peaceful. The RV supplied to shower and cook was very nice but it wasn't clear in the posting that an RV would be part of the experience.'

'They had just took over ownership and the whole town just went through a flood yet they were friendly and even with us having our 2 dogs with us (which is the hardest part of our trips) was a quick but decent stay.'

'Restaurant/bar is closed permanently. Our room was not in the main building but in an annex. The room was very dark because our window looked out onto a wall. '

'We enjoyed the historic vibe, but with modern restoration. The food (dinner and breakfast on site) was excellent and we enjoyed chatting with the chef and hearing some of the history the hotel.'

'The advertised amenities didn’t match the property. The swimming pool shown on Expedia was not available at the hotel. Additionally, the air-conditioning in our initial room was non-functional. When we requested a room change, the staff accommodated us promptly, though they expressed surprise at the issue, insisting the room had never presented problems before. While management was ultimately helpful in relocating us, the initial dismissal of our concern was disappointing.'
