'For a roadside motel this was above average, but not worthy of the rave reviews that brought me to stay here. It appears to be more of a bicyclists overnight stop. There is no early check-in unless you count the 30 minutes if you register yourself online. Staff arrived promptly at 3:30. For unknown reasons we were given a room with a swivel-in seat in the bathtub (like the one my 93 year old mother uses.) I took it out and used it as a luggage rack. The bathroom had one very small shelf above...

'It was the perfect location to enjoy a concert at Dillon Amphitheater, sunset on the lake beach, and instant access to the summit county bike trail. Its not new but its predictable, perfectly located and puts off a solid summer camp woods vibe with mature trees and separated buildings connected by comfortable walkways.'
