'This is a 1950's college dorm room being rented out during the summer months. A creative idea, but the execution isn't great. The beds were hard, the pillows are thin, and they are short on staff. The breakfast didn't look like much so we opted to eat out instead. Beautiful views'

'The Beach House (annex) is a well equipped house, with a wonderful view. A short walk takes you to the beach. Other walks in the area are near Strandhill and at the Glencar Waterfall. We drove through the Ox Mountains and had a beautiful walk at Aughris Head. We loved to watch the cows and sheep in the morning outside the house.
