'This was a beautiful stay. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was quite comfortable. Never had a chance to check out the lounge. Breakfast was a bit sparse, but it was at least offered. Only downside was that we were not aware that daily housekeeping was not offered. I suppose we were supposed to ask for it. We ended up leaving early for reasons unrelated to the facility, so we never did inquire about the housekeeping schedule.'

'We have stayed here twice now. Not too crowded. The scrambled eggs actually taste good. There is an additional sink outside of the bathroom, which is great for when you need to get ready while the bathroom is tied up. Pillow lovers will appreciate that there are 4 pillows for each queen bed.'

'We frequently choose older motels that cost less. We look closely at their photos, and if it looks updated and clean we choose it. Usually we find it is owned/managed by an immigrant family, frequently from the Subcontinent, and they do an excellent job with the older property. The Royal Inn in Hudson, Wis., is such a place. It was very clean, the air conditioning worked well on a hot day, parked right in front of our room. Convenient location.'
