This was an unexpected gem. We arrived and there was music playing quietly, dim lighting, chocolates on the pillows, a bottle of wine, snacks. A very cozy, rustic, quaint place. Don't judge the interior by the building exterior. A perfect retreat after busy days in Charleston. The owner of this studio knows how to take care of guests! We will definitely stay here again.

Adorable "Studio"
We had a great stay in this studio that was more like a whole apartment. The bed was in the middle of the largest room but the full kitchen and laundry room were both separate decent-sized rooms themselves. My daughter and I loved how much space we had to spread out. I was thrilled that coffee, creamer and sugar were provided. A nice bottle of merlot with two glasses was on the table when we arrived, which was a really nice touch- I just happen to like sweeter wines. The location is great, nice residential area that is not too far from stores and restaurants. Tony's communication was perfect!

better than you think
I was a little apprehensive when I first saw the site and price. It seemed really cheap ( too cheap to be nice) The neighborhood leaves alot to be desired but it is going thru a revival. We weren't staying in the studio 24/7 so it didn't really matter. We felt safe coming and going even late in the evening. This is just perfect for a single or couple who want a little more than a hotel room but don't need a whole house. the room is bigger than it looks in the pics and the host Tony, ( and his feline friends) were friendly and attentive to our needs. will definitely recommend and stay there if in the area again.

Small, it very well equipped and furnished. Very suitable for a couple or single. Easy access from airport and to get to different parts of charleston and surrounding areas. Definitely need a car to get around, but lots of local iptiobs for shopping, dining snd groceries. Can highly recommend

Great Again
This is the fifth time I've stayed here, and as usual it was great. The unit itself is more than you could ever want in a room, and Tony the owner is funny, friendly, and knowledgeable. The value here is by far the best in the Charleston area. I look forward to my next visit.

Clean, affordable unit
Nice, spacious and clean. Host had everything available for us from pots, pans, plenty of linens, condiments, dvds, and even a complimentary bottle of wine. Quite neighborhood close to food, shopping and downtown Charleston. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay near Charleston but away from the busy city. Thanks Tony for a great stay!

Perfect from beginning to end
A cute place to stay with all the amenities of home and then some! Tony has thought of everything. And what a bargain!! He makes himself readily available for the duration of the stay. And is wonderful to talk to. There is generally a welcome committee to greet you upon arrival - a couple neighborhood cats who are very sweet. I know I'm not the first to say that when you come into the neighborhood, it might give you pause. But it's really ok and convenient. The rental more than makes up it. If I have a chance to return to Charleston, I will certainly book with Tony again. 🙂

Perfect in every way
This was an exceptional spot for our mother/daughter getaway. Far enough away from the hustle and bustle, yet close enough to be most anywhere in 10-15 minutes. Perfect size for two; everything we needed was at our fingertips; exceptionally clean; comfy bed and bedding; all around perfect! Kudos to the host for attention to the details. Host was very responsive. Don't miss this gem!

Mr Tony is a great host. He was very responsive. We actually got the privilege of meeting Mr. Tony and having a few minutes of conversation. The location of the room is perfect. It's 20 minutes from everything. Charleston crab house is really good. 2 piers, Mt. Pleasant and Folly Pier (which we utilized). Mt. pleasant is shaded and concrete located under a bridge. Very convienent to hide from the sun and go fish all day. Both are very handicap accessible (I utilize a wheelchair for long distances). The Folly Beach Pier has a beach wheelchair and so does the rental agencies (just provide i.d. or call them) the police department/public safety also has them. The apartment is just a LARGE efficiencies unit with a LARGE full kitchen. Upstairs, one flight Bed is comfortable It was super clean. It had some pots/collander/strainer in the cabinet Lots of spices. Some stuff in the fridge like butter and ketchup. AC worked great. (We turned the AC up so it wouldn't turn on when we left the apartment. As to not run up electricity bill 😀) Stereo, TV, and Wi-Fi worked great. Dont worry bout the kitty cats. (They're very friendly, and they are well taken of.) If anything is up, just hit Mister Tony up. We hope we get the privilege to stay here again. Thank you, Mister Tony. Any questions? Just ask him.

Excellent hidden gem
Very clean, spacious studio apartment. Shower has both a regular shower head and handheld, with lots of hot water. Luxury towels. Refrigerator has condiments, butter, etc. Soda and bottle of merlow welcomes you. Washer and dryer avaliable. We definitely will stay here again and recommend for our friends. Very well priced. Ower very responsive with any questions.

Fully worth it!
As we pulled in, we were second guessing if the neighborhood around the property and stray cats nearby made our choice to stay here a mistake, but we the studio immediately and consistently far exceeded our expectations, with no issues on safety the whole time. Lots of free snacks, candy, coffee, and even a bottle of wine to share were the highlights, and everything we needed was right there, which made our decision to choose a low price unit definitely worth it. Tony checked in on us throughout our stay and made sure all of our needs were taken care of. The cleanliness was spotty in some corners of the room, but we truly had no issues with our stay. this would be an excellent spot for travel nurses or any young adults trying to save some money, if nothing above presents any issues. We highly recommend, thank you Tony!

The reviews Tony has are all true. The property was a great location. Tony was exceptional. The place was cozy. He's really thought of everything. The special little touches are nice . The coffee pot wasn't working and he brought one over nearly immediately. He was especially gracious and understanding when I accidently confused our check out day. Adorable Condo with all the right touches
What a charming place! The condo was a perfect accommodation with everything and some of what you need to make your stay comfortable. Everything was clean in place. I felt like I was walking into a romantic suite as the music was playing and the chocolate laid on the bed. Because of the surroundings I believe this to be more of a adult appropriate stay and we would definitely stay here again. Host was very responsive at all times!

Convenient location
Great location for visiting the Charleston area. Nicely appointed place with so many extra touches from the host. Not a pretty neighborhood, but people we saw were always nice. My husband and I are in our sixties and pretty active. We stayed for 2 werks, and for us, the bed was uncomfortable and our only complaint. Everyone has different preferences in a mattress, and this one was not good for us. Overall, the host and location were great. The price was very fair, and the extras were wonderful.

For the eyes of future vacationers I particularly wanted to respond to the bed for which was mentioned for the first-time in over my three years of hosting. 3 accommodations. I have had multiple private mentions concerning all three of my accommodations both Very satisfied and some not so satisfied. So I wanted to copy and paste the response I sent to you while you were visiting. Again Thank you for your kind insight. >>>>>> As for the bed, I have found this topic very hard to satisfy multiple vacationers. Some want a hard mattress, Some want very soft, Some want Pillow top, Some want memory foam, Some want firm. And some of these choices being critical to Age, and Past injuries, Or as simple as being accustomed to a certain mattress at home. While I realized it would be most unreasonable to think I was going to solve multiple desires, I decided to seek out mattresses that was middle of the road between Soft and Firm in all three of my accommodations. I have had some vacationers praise the comforting mattress and want to know where I get my mattresses, while others absolutely despise the same mattress. Hopefully my indepth response concerning my mattresses will shine some light concerning this delema that has been brought to my attention multiple times.😌

Would visit again
We stayed here over New Years holiday. The accommodations were nice, and the little touches added to the property made it feel very welcoming. I appreciated the little chocolates on the bed, coffee bar area, few drinks/snacks and the bottle of wine waiting on us. It felt luxurious. With that being said, when you first arrive to the area it will look questionable… but the inside will definitely surprise you! I will say the area was LOUD… it was New Years, but I still found the party/fireworks until 4 am to be excessive. There are planes that travel overhead which also woke us up on occasion, but obviously nothing that can be fixed. My only true complaint was a concern I had about the front door, and the owner was helpful in answering, but I do not think it was resolved. Overall I would recommend this if you are looking for a good price in North Charleston. It seemed like nothing was more than 15 minutes away!

Don't just a book by its cover. Even thought he outside looks rather plain the interior is remarkable. Clean with mood music to greet you and all the exras you need. There are a few blemishes, but nothing that ruined the experience and not worth mentioning. It's just crazy how beautiful and cozy the room is.

We were very impressed with the atmosphere owner created when you first time enter the place. Nice music, warm lights, bottle of wine everything creates this very homie feelings. You can see that owener(Tony) puts a lot of affort to make Charleston visit special. But you have to consider that place is located in North Charleston in poor neighborhood. It is still very close to all interesting places around. Overall we had great time. Thanks a lot.

The apartment was bigger than we thought it would be and everything needed was thoughtfully and generously supplied by the owner. The studio is lovely inside and full of amenities. Tony is a great host and provides you with more than you need. The location is central to many things. I wasn't familiar with the area so the neighborhood wasn't what I expected. While I wasn't able to complete my stay due to Hurricane Ian, the listing is really lovely inside.

This was honestly one of the nicer property’s I’ve stayed in so far. The host had great communication, and the area was kept very clean. There were a few friendly cats that visited as well. Given the chance I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Experience
We had such a wonderful stay. The property was clean. It was very easy to find things we needed within the apartment. The property also had extra things we had forgotten to bring, i.e. coffee creamer in the refrigerator, shower gel in the shower. The kitchen drawers/cabinets were labeled for us to effortlessly find utensils. Location was perfect to get to Tanger outlets and lots of food choices, as well as WalMart. Will definitely look up this property next time we plan a trip to the Charleston area!
