'The hotel is in a historic building with beautiful wood accents throughout. The staff are nice and try to be helpful. However, we were disappointed given the price we paid. Amenities include a restaurant on-site. While this is technically true, this is misleading since it is only open Thursday through Sunday in the high season. 'We really enjoyed our stay! The view is fantastic. The staff extremely kind and friendly. Overall, the property is very quiet, quaint, and peaceful. It is an older hotel although everything is in good condition and very clean. The jacuzzi tubs are quite loud so we did not use them much. Also we did not try the coffee and pastries, but only because we are early risers, already going about our day by 8am. The town of Point Arena is a gem… we will be back!'

'The property was lovely and very clean! My only issue was the AC was not working at all! Even after I had turned it off, it continued to blow hot air into the room making it unbearable without an open window. Me and my partner resulted to keeping the second story sliding glass door to our balcony open which solved our temperature problem. We also noticed that at some point the deadbolt had been taken off our door so we only had a standard door lock. This was not an huge concern as the property...

'BEAUTIFUL location and the studio was perfect for the two of us! The kitchen had everything we needed, the bed was very comfortable, and the space was great! Highly recommend! Really cannot beat the location right on the ocean! One thing that does need improvement is access to the private beach. The stairs going down to it need renovation as they are challenging to navigate especially if you have a dog with any physical limitations.'

'The room was very nice after we checked in. Wasn't real happy with the check-in experience; it seemed as if we were bothering the clerk. The only downside to the room was that the hot tub, in the middle of the room, was also the shower. Some may not think that would be a problem, but it was just unusual for us. Other than that, we loved the deck and view. Not real high on the town though, so probably won't be back.'

'We kregen een kamer naast de wasruimte en de ijsmachine. De wasruimte zou sluiten om 9 pm maar om 10.30 pm draaiden de machines vrolijk door. De hele nacht een irritante bromtol van de machines. Al met al weinig slaap gekregen. Teleurstellend want daarvoor ben je daar.'
