'the rooms were just fine. the smell was extremely musty, the air conditioner was loud, the mini fridge made strange noises all night and the bathroom area was quite small. i was quite disappointed with the breakfast, where the only things offered were bread, cereal, waffles, a few sausages and coffee. i was hoping for something fresher and a little healthier. however, the beds were comfortable and the room had everything we needed.'

'The staff at Spearfish Canyon Lodge and Roughlock Falls Restaurant never tried to charge me a fee to use my Visa DEBIT card! The restaurant Cheyenne Crossing did try and charge me a fee to use my debit card, which is a federal offense. Different rules apply to charge card vs. debit cards. Thank you to Spearfish Canyon Lodge! A classy comforting experience!'
