Duurzame hotels in North Island

'The bathroom seems to have a pipe issue. I could hear a very loud sound of running water throughout the entire night.'

'On peut aller aux grottes en marchant. Nous avions le #40 et c'est bien.'

'Big plus, there is a bar and eatery associated with the motel and the food was excellent. The room was a bit small for two people but it was clean. The night was really quiet and you get a good night sleep. Staff was quite nice. Would book it again when in the area.'

'Enorm ruim appartement in heerlijke rustige omgeving. Heerlijk voor een paar rustige dagen of om te werken (goed internet).'

'great stay!'

'Mooie B&B , prachtig uitzicht, mooie kamer, lekker ontbijt. Niet dichtbij centrum , leuke plaats '

'We found the staff very welcoming and helpful. The location is fantastic, not too many units and a very family friendly feeling. The building is well maintained and has a warm pool and just right hot tub! Nice seating areas outside, each unit has a balcony or deck, bbqs to use, and I appreciated the washer and dryer ($2 a load). Really enjoyed our stay'

'My son and I booked accomodation. We got there and it was a bed and a couch. My son in 6'4" and left the double bed to me and slept on the short couch. We were looking forward to using the pool in the room. Holy hell, the bottom of the pool was covered in what looked like dead skin and only the saints know what the heck that stuff floating on the top was. We paid good money for that accomodation and were bitterly disappointed. Staff were helpful. Parking outside our room was taken up by...

'Exceptional. We cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay at Country Villa Estate. Danny and Mabel were fabulous hosts from the moment we arrived. We were met with a warm welcome before being shown to our very comfortable room which was beautifully decorated and with everything we needed for our stay. Breakfast was superb with different options each day. Mabel is a true artist with her delicious breakfast offerings. Beautiful gardens, comfortable spaces to relax, a truly unique...

'Het was onze mooiste verblijf tijdens onze trip door NZ. Geweldig vriendelijk, zeer luxe kamers, bubbelbad, balkon met het mooiste uitzicht over her grote meer en de bergen. Het verwarmde buitenbad en de thermalpool buiten waren prachtig.'

'We had a lovely stay! Would definitely go there again, it is beautiful '

'Super ruime kamer met moderne keuken en badkamer. Top!'

'Clean stay but not great for overseas travellers who need bedding provided. We had no idea that bedding wouldn’t be included and needed to “upgrade” to a smaller room with fewer beds but had blankets.'

'Dit hotel/appartement overtrof onze verwachtingen. We ontvingen een upgrade en daar waren we heel erg blij mee. We hadden een appartement met 3 slaapkamers en een heel groot balkon (met bubbelbad) en uitzicht over het meer. Alles is luxe aan dit appartement. Modern ingericht, goede bedden en 2 zeer goede badkamers.'
