Brand New Designer Home on Banks Road, Steps from Beach, Walk to La Bougainvillea

  • Welcome to Silver Palms, a brand new (July 2025) home just over the dune from pink-sand Poponi Beach, one of the top beaches on the island. Silver Palms is located in the premier location on Eleuthera, The Banks Road of Governors Harbour, and is a short walk down the beach to La Bougainvillea's excellent restaurant and bar. Located on a quiet side street, Silver Palms is set in a grove of the trees that gave it its name.

Enter Silver Palms into the great room, with its modern fully equipped kitchen finished in quartz and stainless steel. The sunny dining area has seating for up to eight. The living area is furnished with a leather sectional sofa and a 65-inch flat screen TV.

Silver Palms has two bedrooms and two baths. The master suite is furnished with a king bed and has a full en-suite bath with a walk-in shower.

The guest bedroom is furnished with a twin XL-over-queen bunk bed and is right next to the second full bath, which is accessed from the hallway.

Step outside and enjoy the broad wrap-around veranda with areas for sunning and shaded areas for lounging.

Amenities at Silver Palms include Starlink super-fast WIFI, AC throughout, ceiling fans, a kayak, back-up generator, and back-up water system.

Silver Palms is a 2 minute walk over the dune path to world-class Poponi Beach. La Bougainvillea Boutique Resort, with its excellent restaurant and bar, is a short walk down the beach. Tippy's famous beachfront restaurant and bar is a 3-minute drive. Governors Harbour, the main town on Eleuthera, is an 8-minute drive. Governors Harbour has grocery stores, restaurants, liquor stores, two banks with ATMs, a bakery, gift shops, a dive shop, and a medical clinic. It has a nice little collection of 19th century homes and churches overlooking a picturesque harbor. You can buy fresh fish and lobster in the afternoon from fisherman at the town dock. Friday night Fish Fry in Governors Harbour is a street/beach party that brings together all the tourists and locals with food, drink, and dancing in the street. You won't want to miss it.

Awesome locale

House was beautifully updated and close to the beach and a very short walk to a great restaurant/bar with pool. Banks road locale was close to everything—grocery, town, restaurants—plus the nearly deserted beach. Pam was so helpful with everything as well, our first booking the house sold and she went out of her way to get us a comparable place.

Excellent communication by the owner. Willingness to provide additional household items (blow drier) within minutes is noteworthy. Nice walk to the beach every night was very much appreciated. Could use additional shade in outside sitting area. Overall very nice (and brand-new) place.

Silver Palms home was amazing for our family. Clean, modern, cool, and comfortable. Our boys enjoyed their own space. I loved sitting on the deck every morning and evening listening to the birds, the sound of the ocean, and truly relaxing. Thank you for sharing your home with us for this magical week. Communication was excellent, and you made us feel at ease and welcomed.

Silver Palms

Lovely home within a short walking distance to wonderful beaches. Just off the highly sought after Banks Road, Silver Palms was comfortable, secure and extremely clean. Well-stocked with cookware and extra towels and linens. The A/C units are super efficient! This newly built house is comfortable and welcoming. Would book again.

My wife and I had a great stay at Silver Palms. The house was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed. It’s a newer place and felt comfortable and modern.Louis was excellent to work with. I’ve never had a host who was so easy to communicate with — he always replied quickly and made sure we had what we needed. We appreciated the plenty of towels, the washer and dryer, and the reliable Starlink WiFi. The backup generator was a big help during the power outages. The beach access was easy and convenient. It’s just a short walk down the road and over the dune path to Poponi Beach, one of the prettiest and quietest beaches on Eleuthera. We pretty much had it to ourselves, and they provided beach chairs and an umbrella. We didn’t use the guest bedroom this trip, but the twin-over-queen bunk would be great when we bring our kids in the future. This was our third time staying on Eleuthera, and Silver Palms is definitely a top contender for our next trip. We’d recommend it to anyone who wants a nice house with easy beach access.

A part of me wants to leave a horrible review, but that is only because I don’t want this home to be booked out for the next several years. Absolutely outstanding! Louis and Luz are the epitome of perfect hosts. Wonderful location and A-Z personal service. They even hooked us up with a local artisan baker. Tremendous experience and we have visited the island a half dozen times in the last couple of years.

Beautiful new home in Central Eleuthera!

We had a wonderful stay at Silver Palms in Central Eleuthera. The house is within easy walking distance to Poponi Beach (only saw four other people). It's close to La Bougainvillea Resort, and a short drive to Tippy's, Bacchus, and other local restaurants. Easy to visit the Leon Levy Preserve and gorgeous beaches in Central Eleuthera (Ten Bay and Receiver's Beach are favorites). The beds and furniture were very comfortable, and the kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, cookware and utensils we needed to cook meals at home. Communication with Louis and the staff was excellent from start to finish, and having a generator during power outages was a huge plus. We felt comfortable, well taken care of, and truly relaxed. Highly recommend this home and would absolutely stay again!

Our experience exceeded our expectations. My wife said the trip was worth it just to stay in this home, she loved it so much. The place was sparkling clean and literally a 2 minute walk to the gorgeous beach. We had the beach almost all to ourselves. It was beautiful for long walks and playing in the waves. The town was just a few minutes away. We could drive to other side of the island and enjoy the Caribbean side as much as the Atlantic. Louis was incredibly helpful and responsive. Can't say enough good things about our stay.

Clean and Modern, close to La Bougainvilla and Tippy's!

Silver Palms is in a great location, walkable to La Bougainvilla and a quick drive to Tippy's. Easily our two favorite restaurants during our stay on Eleuthera! Poponi Beach on the Atlantic side is beautiful and an easy walk from the house. Unfortunately our only calm day was our arrival day so we only walked it, never swam it. The house is clean and modern and has everything you need. There is no safe for valuables but the owner assured us they've never had an issue and we never felt unsafe. The lawn is lovely, well-kept, with beautiful silver palm trees. The deck is nice but while security cameras make you feel safe, they don't allow for a feeling of privacy so we didn't spend much time out there. There's no hair dryer, so if that's important to you bring one along. Easy drive into Governor's Harbor and close to Eleuthera Market for groceries and Jimmy's for beverages. We found the central location great for exploring both the south and north parts of Eleuthera. Owner Louis and property manager Richard were very kind and communicative. Kristin from Eleuthera Vacation Rentals was a gem from booking last July all the way through our checkout with so many tips and recommendations. We can't wait to return to Eleuthera and will definitely book through Eleuthera Vacation Rentals again!
