Perfection —all at once!
Privacy, beauty, setting and every possible convenience in a vacation rental on one of the out islands. Top appliances, comfortable furniture, spectacular setting on a near private beach of miles. And to make things best, a wonderful local manager—responsive, knowledgeable,etc. Could not have been more pleased! Compliments to the owners for their thoughtful furnishing and accommodations. A minor point would be the need to replace the beach chairs, but the many patio chairs and tables and lounges were in top condition and extremely nice. Almost fear providing this rating and having massive popularity preclude availability for us later (smile). It was a wonderful getaway.

Absolute picture perfect perfection
Pictures of this place don’t do it justice. It is absolute perfection. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted with the most STUNNING views. It looks like a postcard. We lucked out and had a few days where it was windy on the Caribbean side and the Atlantic side was protected which meant perfect beach days at the beach below. The beach is accessible by a few other houses on the road, but 99% of the time, it was just us on the beach with the insanely clear waters all to ourselves. Inside the house, you have great internet, a tv with Netflix (and possibly the best view you’ll ever have while watching tv), full kitchen, good AC, and a VERY comfortable bed. We will absolutely be back and we will tell everyone we know that this is the best place to stay.

Incredible location!
My husband and I stayed at Conch’d out for our honeymoon and found the location perfect! The private beach is incredible and was great for snorkeling. Anne was extremely helpful. Would highly recommend this property.

Christmas Paradise
We have been to Eleuthera many times, but never with our boys (now adults and one about to be married). We decided to share the island with them and planned a Christmas week vacation. Conch’d out was perfect for our needs and the setting beautiful. The generator came in handy a few times and the owners are commended for installing. The home also has city water and a cistern, so lack of water was not an issue. The property manager responded promptly the few times we had questions. We highly recommend staying at this home!

Beautiful Property/Nice View
Communication and check in is abysmal. I booked and paid for this reservation months in advance. I was given EXPLICIT instructions to follow -including contacting the property manager a week before we arrive, via whats app. As instructed, we messaged the property manager - but got no response - we tried for days, finally writing to the Conch'd Out Team (Onwers names are not given) - confirmed I did have the right number, and then I got a message from the property manager. She asked if I would like a whats app "pin" with directions to the house. As the island is very dark at night, with not much in the way of street lighting, and minimal street signs - I was grateful and said YES PLEASE! I was also told that i would get a "code" to get into the property prior to arriving. Neither happened. Upon arrival, I texted via whats app, the property manager. Again asking for a PIN - She said ok -and never sent one. It was getting darker by the minute, we had a map, so we decided to try to find the house. After an hour, we found it, or what we thought was it -It was the Conch'd out Cottage and there were people already there!!! Again, we tried to reach the property manager, and she told us we were at the wrong house -So we went to the next house up. We had no way to get in. I called the property manager AGAIN - finally got a code. Rental cost was over 3K -- check in was unacceptable. If you rent, make them give you the code and directions BEFORE you get on the plane.

We apologize again for your check-in experience. That was out of the ordinary. Our property manager Anne did try to message you back, but unfortunately her messages weren't going through. She is otherwise typically very helpful & responsive as mentioned in other reviews. Also, we do email a Welcome Guide that includes detailed directions & maps with landmarks a couple weeks ahead of time. So while it may seem intimidating when visiting the island for the first time, if you follow our directions, you will find that there is actually just 1 highway on the whole island and we're only 2 turns off of it (all paved main roads). However, we appreciate your feedback. We will additionally advise guests to download an offline map and pin our location ahead of time, and we will also provide the key access code earlier. Glad you still enjoyed our beachfront property and ocean views. Best, Team Conch'd Out

Paradise
We walked out on the peninsula and it felt like we were in paradise. The home was, once again, well stocked and Anne was very responsive to questions. This was our second visit which speaks volumes about this property. Highly recommended!

Stunning Property and Location
Fantastic location sitting high on a bluff above the Atlantic. We basically had the entire beach to ourselves every day. Lush tropical landscaping make this home a remote but excellent place to relax. The patios are perfect and always provide a shady spot to escape the sunlight. Nicely decorated home, comfortable beds and close enough access to Island Farm for fresh produce, meats, cheese and close to Governors Harbor for groceries and restaurants. The beach was incredible - clean, crystal clear water with beautiful sea life and rock pools. We explored other beaches but none compared. A rental car is a must as you cannot walk to stores, and Wi-Fi can be spotty at times but that all lends to the feeling of getting away from the crowds. We did have some lightning/thunder storms while we were there, which resulted in power outages, but we knew that was a possibility given the location and Anne and Dell responded quickly and worked tirelessly to get power back on for us. If you are looking for a true getaway from tourists and priceless view/beach, then this is a perfect location.

Flying high
Wonderful property right on the ocean. Up high on a bluff where you catch the sea breeze and can look down the beach north and south to beautiful clear water with excellent snorkeling. Food and amenities all close by. I highly recommend this place as it was our second time staying there.

One word review….’Amazing’! Everything was wonderful and as advertised. The property is beautiful outside with the panoramic view to the beach. The inside is very clean with all the amenities of home. We couldn’t have asked for anything more from booking to checkout. Restaurants, beaches, bakeries, and every local resident we encountered were all very nice and helpful. Would definitely go back again. Thank you, Conch’d Out, for a beautiful memory!!

simply gorgeous
terrific house - we were three - husband, myself, and our adult daughter. we had a truly wonderful family vacation. bought groceries at Island Farm (thank you Anne!!), discovered new favorite spots on the island and of course lolled in the water right in from t of the house. we left water soaked, sun soaked and very relaxed. perfection!

amazing location, the best on Palmetto Point
We had stayed at Conch'd out many times over the last 15 years. The new owners made major improvements in adding heat pumps in all 3 rooms and a generator. Bravo!! The house was cleaner than we had ever seen it when we arrived. Bravo!! Sadly, two of the three screen doors in the main room did not work and need replacement. The master bedroom no longer contains a bureau and its screen door did not work. These problems made creating a cross wind in the main house impossible. One of the bedroom lights in the downstairs room shorted out and did not work. Our hope would be new screen doors, a bureau, and a tea kettle. All tea water had to be made with a sauce pan. Should these issues be addressed, we would give this property a 5 star rating.

Thank you for your positive review and constructive feedback. The screen doors were repaired and lightbulb was replaced immediately after receiving this post. We have also added a tea kettle. In the future, please give us the opportunity to address any issues during your stay. A house for everyone on an island that may not be
Eleuthera may not be for everyone they say - but this house is. We were a party of 2 and the upper space was perfect. Views every morning you dream about. The location south of Governors Harbour made for privacy and quiet.House is equipped with everything you need and local stores and the Island Farm store have pretty much everything else you might need.

Breath taking views
This property is gorgeous! The views were amazing! We basically had our own private beach. The house was stocked with just enough toiletries to start our stay. Eleuthera isn’t for everyone because it’s so low key and not very commercialized but that’s what we wanted. We found excellent beaches to just hang all day and local restaurants with delicious food. Conch’d out was just far enough from town to be easy to grab something but not so close to be in the midst of everything. It was super easy to find the place with Anne’s directions and she was super accessible for questions throughout our stay! Loved every minute of it!

Unbeatable Bahamas
Conch'd Out was a fabulous vacation rental. One full week with ocean views and sounds, excellent beach, clean and very well appointed amenities, all the perfect furniture indoors and out, and a really comfy bed! It really was a fantastic stay without complaints. The location is super, and the views had us always exclaiming with how lovely it all was. ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!
This was the BEST vacation I’ve ever had. The property was better than the description. Photos can not describe its beauty. It was breath-taking. Not a soul on the beach but us for 9 Days! When we first arrived I was disappointed to see seaweed on the beach, but Anne the property mgr came right over and was GREAT! She had someone out the next day cleaning it up off the beach for us. Apparently there was a storm that carried it in just before our arrival. Communication with Anne was GREAT throughout our stay! The generator really came in handy as we lost power multiple times. It kicked right in without hesitation. The house was fully stocked with everything you need! It was clean bright and well kept. I loved the floor plan. Open and 180’ views of the gorgeous turquoise water and beach everywhere you turned. This place delivered us the R&R we were looking for. A rental car is a must! But most days we never left the property! It is 1.5 hrs from ELH airport and you will need to buy groceries throughout your stay. There’s a great little grocery store Milard’s, Andre was so nice and helpful. We also enjoyed Tippys! It’s pricey (eating anywhere on the island is expensive) but very good! Ask Anne about her vegetable farm. It was fabulous. They bake fresh bread twice a week and have a great selection of veggies, wine, cheeses, and frozen meats! And it’s super close by! I can’t say enough about how much I fell in love with Eleuthera and Conch’d Out. Already planning my return visit! See you soon Conch’d Out!! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!!

Amazing views
Best view I’ve ever had at a rental. Sunrise was beautiful. The house was clean, light and airy. The beach in front of the house was good for walking, swimming, snorkeling, and kayaking. Sitting out at the table on the point, we could see for miles.

Incredible!
What an absolute gem. The pictures do not do this place justice. From the minute we pulled up, everything was just fantastic. Anne was great to work with and provided us with such a great experience. We arrived on a holiday when most stores were closed, but Anne took a special order and delivered things to the house prior to our arrival. The two beaches in front of the house are without a doubt some of the best beaches on the island. We spent a week visiting beaches in Eleuthera and every morning we just loved how awesome the beaches at our doorsteps were. And the snorkeling! Just offshore are some of the coolest reefs you'll see. The house was very clean and stocked perfectly with amenities that most places overlook. Our only notes is that the bug are definitely rough in the evening. But that's anywhere on the island. Bring the right bug cream / spray and you'll be fine. Overall, we can't wait to come back and hopefully rent this and the beach cottage next door.

Awesome property and great location!
We spent one week In Eleuthera and we had a great time. Property is amazing, house had everything we needed, very clean and comfortable and an awesome location. Beaches in front of the Property were awesome and beautiful. Lots of coral and great Snorkeling. Property manager Anne Bethel was a great host and provided all the information we needed. She kept in touch with us and ensured all our questions were answered. Awesome property and looking forward to our next visit.

Wonderful property with amazing views. Tons of privacy and TWO georgeous beaches are steps away. The roads have very few signs so it can be challenging to find the property initially. Get your groceries at Burrows in Governers Harbor. Then kick back and just chill. Great house with all the amenities. We really appreciated the espresso machine in the mornings. If you want to get away from it all on a beautiful oceanfront promontory this is the place for you.

Beautiful views and great location!
Just walking in the front door you already had a spectacular view of the ocean on both sides of the property. The house was perfect for the two of us, but would easily accommodate another couple (or more) in the lower level bedroom that has it's own bathroom. The kitchen was well stocked, almost better than home, and we ended up doing a lot of cooking while we were there. Eating outside on one of the many tables, or at the massive dining room table inside all provided amazing views of the ocean. Our stay was comfortable, inviting and relaxing. We would definitely stay at Conch'd Out again!

Eleuthera Family Vacation
Fantastic Home overlooking one of the best beaches on the Atlantic side. Andrew, the caretaker was wonderful and even brought us fresh homegrown tomatoes for our last dinner in paradise. Smooth check in/out and arranging car rental through Andrew was also a breeze. We drove the length of the island twice in our weeklong stay. Conch'd out served as an excellent midpoint homebase for the entire island. I especially appreciated the good array of spices, cookware, and dishware to accomodate all the home cooking we did during our stay as it made our grocery trips less $$. Just about everything you need to enhance your vacation is available- from kayaks and beach towels to vinegar and garlic salt. Excellent value for the view!!!

Words can't say enough!!
Everything was perfect. Everything was as expected or better. I wish everyone had the same attitude and outlook on life as Andrew the caretaker has!! We snorkeled, we picked Conch shells, we had dolphins swim along the beach (the same as the video), we seen hundreds of coral, fish and stingrays, we soaked up all of the sun, and we became experts at keeping LEFT TO LIVE. Driving on the wrong side of the road took a while to get comfortable with. Literally every minute of our 2 weeks was perfect!! We will definitely rent Conch'd Out again!!

Great stay at Conch'd Out
We couldn't have been happier with our stay at Conch'd Out. We traveled Eleuthera from top to bottom during our time on the island and feel that the location can't be beat. The house was as described if not nicer, the grounds are beautiful and well-tended, the beds are super comfortable and the two beaches are amazing. We used the kayaks, snorkeled, cooked lots of meals in the kitchen and enjoyed the satellite tv in the evening. Reta and Andrew treated us wonderfully. Meeting them was one of the highlights of our trip. This was our first visit to Eleuthera and we were deeply impressed with the island, especially the friendly people. I hope to return again someday.

Best Spot on Eleuthera !!!!!
My wife and I celebrated our 30th Anniversary with another couple here; this place is the best location on the island. We spent most of our time just sitting on the point, beach and in the crystal clear water. Very private location with all of the amenities of home. We loved the Buccaneer Club! Great service and best conch on the island. If you get a chance during your stay go north and take a ferry over to Harbour Island. Conch Queen has the best conch salad anywhere. Fish Fry on Friday is a must. Andrew was great and very helpful as needed. Thanks Gary! Hope to return soon! Hard to return to work after being on island time!

On a little peninsula, this property has about 210degrees of ocean views. Stunning. There are steps to two beaches. Reefs just offshore. A very comfortable hammock. The house is nice, has all the essentials. Andrew and Rita (the caretakers) are wonderful. We'll definitely be back.

Can’t wait to return!
We have stayed at Conchd Out before and we enjoyed our stay just as much this time as in the past. The house is on the best beach on the island for swimming, snorkeling, and kayaking. We visited many of the “must see” beaches on the island and this one is still my favorite. The reef just in front of the house is gorgeous. We were able to see turtles, lobsters, conch, tons of brightly colored reef fish, and even a dolphin right at Conchd Out! My family and I appreciated the well equipped kitchen and the clean and comfortable house. I loved beginning each day with a cup of coffee at the palapa overlooking the ocean. WiFi and Satellite TV were really nice to have on rainy days. The caretakers, Andrew and Reta, were friendly and kind and went out of their way to make sure our stay was perfect.

Relax In Paradise
Conch'd Out was not what we expected, it was even better. The views are breathtaking and the warm tropical breezes are refreshing. We enjoyed sitting on the beach catching some rays and cooling off in the clear waters. Andrew & Rita could not have been better to us. Andrew went out of his way to make us feel wecomed and at home. He even cut some coconuts so we could get the coconut water, jelly, and raw coconut. Al of the restaurants he suggested were right on. Pammys was adelicious lunch several days. All in all a great get away. Eleuthers is truly a "Hidden Gem" in the Caribbean.

Lovely house in a fantastic location
We had a lovely week at Conch'd out. The beaches are superb and we enjoyed swimming, snorkelling and kayaking. The property is good for a quiet beach holiday and has everything you need although it is showing some signs of wear and tear. This does not detract from the level of comfort at all. At the time we visited the island was very quiet but there are fabulous beaches to explore. Eleuthera is beautiful and if you are interested in seeing the real Bahamas then don't hesitate to go and visit it yourself, and for 2 to 6 people this is a great place to stay. You will need a car though.
