'Clean room very quiet '

'We always happily seem to get the same room so although I cannot comment on any other room, room 211 has consistently been clean and comfortable. It is well appointed with a bath, which I personally love as so many hotels just squeeze in a shower. The check-in is friendly, professional and fast so it was only moments before the bags could be dumped and the reason for a visit could begin. '

'Hotel zelf was best redelijk, typisch Engels, niet helemaal meer bij de tijd maar beslist niet slecht. Bed was wel een minpunt, hard. Kamer was ruim. Ontbijt prima (tegen 9 GBP bijbetaling). En zeer fijn: goede gratis parking achter slagboom. Gelegen tegenover een kerk met gras. Mijn grootste twijfel was de plaats Grimsby zelf waar dit hotel midden in staat. Wat is dat een enge plaats, vooral als de winkels dicht zijn. Opvallend veel obscure, luide types op straat, en geen politie te bekennen...

'Difficult to find. Not signed Alpine lodge outside. Instructions to pick key up from safe not in. TV didn't work moved room no sink. No fixed heating device with working Temperature Control Valve. Chep yes. But won't rebook communal showerW/C. Well under local authority radar.'
