'We had previously eaten at this hotel and were so impressed that we decided pay another visit and stay the night. We were not disappointed. The room was excellent. Every member of staff we met were warm and friendly and the cooked breakfast was superb. Appledore is such a lovely destination and a stay at the Royal George makes it all the more special. We'll be back! '

'We had a great half term stay! The apartment was spotlessly clean, the furniture v comfortable, the beds were firm and 100% cotton sheets, wifi great. The view is wonderful, sunsets every night and a balcony to sit and watch the world go by. Remember to bring your binoculars! The position of the apartment is fantastic, no need to use the car, unless visiting nearby attractions, which are numerous. We hope to be back :-)'

'Our 2nd stay at the Sailors Rest...Nice room with fantastic views & a huge king size bed... Great shower & mini fridge with fresh milk & water ...nice touch. Happy with our 1 night stay in Beautiful Appledore & hopefully will return to the Sailors Rest in the future.'
