'When you have never been somewhere before, you have low expectations. I have to say that this hotel was way better than I expected. Not that I thought it was going to be bad but that it was very good and a very pleasant surprise! The common areas were clean and looked after. The rooms were clean and looked after. Two positives right there. Every hotel has a little wear and tear, can’t be helped with people coming and going, carrying overpacked cases. This hotel wears it well…. The odd nick here...

'The room was clean but the floors did seem a bit crummy. We had some issue with breaker popping but staff were on it in a jiffy. The bathroom door stuck a bit so you had to hipchecknto get out of there. There was no noise issues. Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We had breakfast vouchers for the adjoining restaurant and food was great and served fresh and hot to our table. I would stay again!'
