'Mooie locatie in de heuvels. In de directe omgeving niks te beleven. Het was voor ons echt een auto oplaadpunt waardoor wij hier verbleven. De kamers zijn ouderwets maar wel schoon! Bed was prima.!'

'Clean room, been partly modernised since my last visit but still somewhat dated and paintwork etc needs touching up. Smart TV in the room this time though it was very slow and while the apps worked, the main live channels didn't seem to. Not anything which really bothered me but may others. Breakfast was cooked to order and fantastic. Friendly staff throughout, speedy check in. A big improvement since my last visit, still a little way to go.'

'Firstly, staff made us really welcome and were great throughout our stay..our room was clean and spacious with a great view..i was worried that beds may be uncomfortable based on previous reviews however all good no issues. We had evening meal and breakfast both were amazing..'

'I was very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. I booked it for its reasonable price but it far exceeded expectations. We were visiting family in chester over Christmas, and there were no hotels available in the city centre, although this was a little far out the drive was very easy and quick parking was good and the hotel was clean and friendly. I would definitely stay again and recommend it to others.'

'We came to visit Chester and the Hotel Manager- didn’t catch his name sorry but he welcomed us with warmth and made our stay special, checking with us whether everything was alright with our stay, he had some veggie sausages especially made for us for breakfast, The place is very convenient if you are visiting Chester, short drive into the city. We did the City Walls as suggested by the Manager, which covered pretty much the city followed by beautiful scenery. '
