'Size and location of property was good, but owner knew the oven was broken since he text me minutes before I was able to check in and did not have it repaired or have an alternative to bake with. We were left with a make due kind of attitude. For the cost, there should have been something there to bake with especially since we were staying 4 nights and a party of 8. Maybe have Amazon deliver a toaster oven?? Owner has not reinvested any of its proceeds to updating or providing decent towels and...

'The location is perfect in Tahoe City, right across the street from The Commons. It was close to great food, drinks and bakery’s. I stayed in room 8, which was on the top floor. 'After reading all the positive reviews I was expecting a room that was remodeled motel room. It was musty, stains on carpet, old fridge and the door needed painting. The nice thing is once it gets dark, you don't see all the scuffs. The only good thing were the beds and linens. Even the towels and wash cloths needed replacing. I don't think I will return'
