'This is the second time we've visited the Low Head, George Town area and wanted to stay at the pilot station. We were not disappointed; these charming old buildings are in great condition for their age. We had trouble with the gas heater in our unit but Jodi from the kiosk came to the rescue. The bed was comfortable; the kitchen well stocked with cooking equipment and parking was onsite and close to the unit. These units are old and have some "quirky" features at times. We would definitely stay...

'Love this property, very welcoming staff and well looked after room. Fabulous views and very peaceful and quiet. Definitely only worth a night stay as there isn’t much around and very limited food options. The restaurant was lovely and service was great! The breakfast hamper was perfect! '

'We stayed in the studio cottage. It is with good ambiance and very spacious unit with full stocked kitchen facilities. The sea view is excellent and all made our stay very pleasant. There was a recent ownership transition and check in was through a phone call. We booked another unit originally with welcome gift and that was changed and we only found out after checking in. The new owner called and apologised and promised some compensation but never heard again. There was no instruction on WiFi...

'This is an absolutely beautiful, luxurious accommodation. We stayed in room 1, the spacious two bedroom apartment upstairs. With a large, airy, open plan lounge/kitchen/dining area, every room was immaculate, beautifully appointed and well-equipped with everything you might need for a very comfortable stay. A gorgeous ocean view, a large balcony deck for enjoying the views, and very lovely, gracious hosts. If you're coming to NW Tassie, this is a very fine place to stay. Highly recommended.'

'Great communication. Nice touches leaving extra goodies. Bonus that you could watch Netflix too. Bed not comfortable though. Like most motels body imprints both sides and need to sleep on middle of bed. Motels in general need to consider better mattresses. '
