'We stayed here for 2 nights when we attended a wedding. Great location with access to shops and restaurants. The hotel was clean with good bathroooms and comfy beds. Breakast was included and it was tasty and fresh. We are vegan and it is the best hotel breakfast we have had. But the thing that elevates it is the staff. So helpful, attentive, and friendly. A great stay.'

'after check-in, which was friendly and quick, we went out for a short walk before diner. the surroundings of the hotel are quiet and friendly. after a long drive very welcome.

'I grew up in Teesside in the 80's and live in the US - I fully recommend this hotel. The room was above the Three Tuns pub across the street - I guess they run both properties. My room had new bathroom fixtures and a great walk-in shower. My deal also included a full English breakfast downstairs which I'd recommend if you want to go hiking around Sheep Wash/Cod Beck for most of the day.
Brilliant spot to hang out - I will look forward to coming back on future visits to the Northeast anytime...

'Had a beautiful , spacious and very comfortable 4 poster double/king sized bedroom. Breakfast options were extremely varied and plentiful, both cold and hot choices. Good to see fresh fruits avaliable quality local.produce sourced. Dining room very attractive; staff warm, hospitable but very efficient. Only gave 4 stars for property condition because it is undergoing a major refurbishment, some furniture and furnishings a little tired, but nothing to impact negatively on our stay. Certainly ...
