We stayed one night and it was comfortable. The place has been renovated. The price was good, with breakfast included with the stay, but its a to go bag with choice of muffin or granola bar and apple or orange juice.

To be honest, I was a little apprehensive about my upcoming stay after reading a few of the reviews. To start, when we entered the hotel there was a slightly musty smell, but in all fairness, it was pouring outside and there was a wet floor sign posted. We were quickly and pleasantly greeted by the guy behind the desk. I believe his name was Alex. Check- in was quick and easy. We had booked 2 rooms for 2 nights. The halfway was clean with no smell at all. When we arrived at our rooms they were directly across from each other as I had requested. Upon entering the room, it was updated, immaculate, and no smell whatsoever. No bugs either!! Very pleased with both rooms. We walked to two different places to eat each night. Park Place Sports Bar for burgers. The food (burgers) was good. The Irish Pub the next night. The food there was excellent! Both places were within walking distance. We did see a couple of shady characters on the way, but they were hanging out in front of a bar. Overall, great experience and would definitely stay here again!!

Suite was very big. Couldn’t beat 80 bucks a night. Wasn’t charged a pet fee, and it was right in the little town. Sidewalks in every direction. Updates to the room were nice. Would definitely stop in again.

The hotel has made a nice conversion from the old Ho Jo's. Still some less fortunate folks around the place but that's life. Would say that if the temperature is in the 20"s in March, it might be nice to have box of Kleenex in rooms. Staff was on the ball.

Second time staying here since it became Red Roof. I am from the area and have stayed here several times throughout the years. Under Red Roof it has greatly improved. Renovated rooms and quiet. Not luxury but definitely very clean with new floors, furniture etc. My only complaint on this 4 day stay is housekeeping did not visit my room at all to make bed , sweep, refill coffee, etc. I do not expect a sheet or towel change every day, but a daily check in to replenish and tidy up is expected. With that said, it won’t keep me from staying their again.

We were told this hotel was a sister one to the Super 8, up the street. This one is so much nicer, cleaner, the elevator is a bit sketchy though. I like that you can walk to a couple of the stores that are here, it has plenty of parking, especially if you have a trailer like we do. We are going on 2 weeks here, waiting for our house to be ready. I would recommend this place.

Our stay was good reasonably priced courteous staff and very quiet. Renovations were done but more is needed. Only ice machine was on the first floor which was a pain. Place had a weird odor almost like cigarette smoke although smoking is not permitted on premises. The bathroom was tiny but manageable. Room was clean which is very important. I would stay there again

Recently renovated
The hotel was recently renovated and very clean. The elevator was the little jerky when it stopped and we misunderstood about breakfast. They do offer a continental breakfast, but you are supposed to fill out a small slip of paper the night before to tell them what you wanted. Overall we were pleased with the hotel.
