    Located in one of Nosara’s most secure hillside communities, Villa at Casa Oolibka offers stunning views and a 10-minute drive to Playa Guiones via paved roads. Guests enjoy tranquility and easy access to the surf, shops, and restaurants of Nosara.

    Noise Policy: Las Huacas enforces a 10 p.m.–7 a.m. noise ordinance. This is a residential neighborhood—events, parties, or large gatherings are strictly prohibited.

    LOCAL QUIRKS | WHAT TO EXPECT

    Life in Nosara is relaxed and full of charm — but it comes with a few quirks! You may experience dust, bugs, or brief power, water, or internet outages. Construction noise is also possible between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m. as the area continues to grow.

    If reliable internet is essential, consider adding a mobile data plan. Please note that local septic systems don’t allow toilet paper to be flushed — bins are provided.

    These are normal aspects of life in Costa Rica and outside our control, so refunds aren’t offered for such occurrences.

    SAFETY & CANCELLATION

    While we honor our cancellation policy, processing fees are non-refundable for guest-initiated cancellations.

    Petty theft can occur, so please keep doors locked, valuables secured, and use alarms or security bars when available. A private guard can be arranged upon request.

    Even with precautions, theft can happen. Rent Nosara, the homeowner, and the property manager cannot be held responsible for lost items.

The area was wonderful, however pictures looked better than the property itself. There is space in the windows and doors that allows for insects and lizards to come through. The property is not properly insulated so the temperature is not controlled well from room to room. There was dried blood on the walls and the pool patio. The stove also did not work properly at times. We ended up needing to use the grill to cook. There is a smaller bedroom that has a double bed that was not cleaned before getting there. The living rooms are limited in furniture so if you wanted to all get together and hang out in the living areas, likely half would need to sit on the floor. The housecleaning and pool cleaner were excellent especially with any concerns like changing the sheets in last bedroom. The concierge was also great. They were great to get adventures scheduled. However, for the price of the place, it was very much disappointing overall.
