'This is a historic building with luxurious interiors and southern architecture. Highly recommend staying here as the staff is very friendly and breakfast is sumptuous. Street parking is convenient right in front of the property. It's also close to many iconic places in Winston-Salem.'

'We stayed here for 2 nights in a comfortable suite. The property was very pleasant, as were the staff. Parking was easy and safe. Strange that a hotel of this class doesn't have a bar or restaurant though. I know they offer a glass of wine in the evening, but having to walk 10 minutes to find somewhere to go for a nightcap we found unusual. Feels more like a wedding venue than a full-service hotel. Breakfast was very good.'

'We stayed in the Wachovia room Christmas Eve to Christmas Day as a midpoint to our final destination. The innkeeper was very attentive in making sure we were able check in late with no hiccups. Instructions were clear, easy to navigate even with a few one way streets near by. We were extremely pleased with the ambiance, location, attentiveness of staff and most of all THE BREAKFAST!!
