'This is the perfect place if you want peace and quiet and privacy over what has become a very noisy holiday. July Fourth should be about more than blowing stuff up but that’s what it’s become to a lot of people so I got out of town and came here. Perfect for rest and relaxation. 'We had a nice stay. Everything was as described. The owner checked with us via message.Thankfully, the A/C worked well as the temps were in the 90s with high humidity, so we were comfortable in the house at all times. We enjoyed watching river traffic through the large windows and from the new deck furniture in the early mornings!'

'We were infested by mayflies inside, had to leave after second day of 4 day stay...trying to get partial refund. rotten wood on bottom of door open to outside. trash in yard, filthy dishes in kitchen, fish hooks in carpet. didn't know it was upstairs only until day before we got there, which was difficult for my wife. I doubt this place would pass an inspection!'

'You can tell the owners care for the house and want you to have a comfortable experience. It was clean and comfortable. Always felt safe in the neighborhood. Conveniently located. The light switch for the back bedroom is in the hall. It took us a while to find that one. The bathroom could use a remodel but overall the house was perfect for our weekend needs. '

'River’s Edge was perfect for our trip. We spent the week at a golf tournament at TPC Deere Run and this location was great. The house is very clean and inviting. The deck was amazing! We had rain a few days during our stay, so the covered deck, view and fire pit were perfect. Highly recommend this location and will definitely be back for any future trips. '

'We had a fabulous two night stay at your Cottage on the Mississippi! The Cottage is charming, a place that draws you in and honestly you don't want to leave. The decks are lovely, giving beautiful views of the Mississippi. It is exactly as you described. We totally relaxed.
