First off, I have a white glove cleaning crew. The head works in a drs office and we use specific disinfectant and this chalet is spotless. Secondly, the mini splits all have to be set to cool for the system to work properly. This is a brand new 3 head mini split system. James

Thank you Elicia! Glad you enjoyed your stay! We had a ton of snow over Christmas, very picturesque! 12 miles to the South Gate and 37 miles further to the valley floor, drive times totally dependent on traffic and road conditions. With that much snow it was slow going.

I went through the chalet and double checked everything before these guests arrived. The chalet was perfect inside and out. Super clean everywhere. Upon arrival the calls started coming. There was an old remote for an unused appliance in the bookcase that had no batteries. The guest took a picture of it with the back off and emailed to let me know. (It was not in use so this was confusing) I guess according to her all remotes should have batteries if they are in use or not. I personally think that’s a waste of batteries. There was a light bulb burned out, 1 of 2 (2 was still working) on the underside of the hood of the oven, (we replace these a lot) although there was still plenty of light to see the stove top from the existing light and the other 2 kitchen lights this was also noted as being unacceptable. I sent my caretaker over to immediately correct these issues (within the hour) and she declined. ??? Also to put the record straight the master bedroom has its own bathroom right across the hall and another door that blocks both bedroom and bathroom for privacy for those in the master suite if they would like. The chalet is not the four seasons, but it is spotless and comfortable in a great location with a nice theme and some preserved character. It has good WiFi, ping pong, hot tub and flat screens. It’s location provides chance viewing of deer, wild turkeys, fox and other wildlife. It’s location is minutes from a giant sequoia stand and the Sierra National forest. Even with all that you can’t please everybody! Lol

I never received any correspondence from Terri about any of her concerns except the mouse cubes. My caretaker had some under and back in some cabinets. He immediately went to the chalet upon her request and removed them. There won’t be anymore in living spaces moving forward whatsoever. Any other concerns I could have fixed immediately, and we already have. There was a big rain and the front door had swelled a bit so it was catching, fixed fast with a bit of adjustment. This is the rest. 1. The family room light is controlled by a remote which fell on the floor. Found and replaced. 2. Water pressure is controlled by the mandated inserts in the fixture for water conservation. 3. My cleaning crew works in a Drs office and are very versed on cleaning protocols and use coronavirus specific antiseptic. This chalet is spotless and every surface is wiped down and disinfected after every party. 4. There are round vent openings in various locations for additional portable climate control units for the comfort of our guests, they have covers. 5. There is literally 2 cords of firewood next to the garage and there is 3 mini splits set at 70 year around in this chalet. The amount of firewood available at this property is immense. 6. We take hospitality and cleanliness seriously. We clean and launder everything vigorously and make sure and supply everything. 30 to forty towels, fresh propane on the bbq, hot tub clean and hot, a ton of firewood if you want, we meet you and show you around, answer questions about local points of interest, help you with specific requests and strive to give you a great vacation experience. Basically way more than any other vacation rental provides and will continue to do so. Welcome! James
