'We had a nice stay at this property, and the host was very kind and accommodating. The location is perfect! The Zócalo is only a few minutes walk away. It's walking distance to other museums, Michelin restaurants, and native, Oaxacan cuisine. Taxis come by every 2 mins. and there are several cafes almost nextdoor. 'Een onverwachts prachtig comfortabel hotel in het historische centrum Om de hoek van de mooie cathedral ligt dit hotel vlakbij veel goede restaurants. De kamers waren modern en comfortabel en het ontbijt was heerlijk.

'We were soo happy to have picked this place! It was quaint, personable and in a perfect location! The breakfast was delicious! Made with thought and care. We stayed in the back room which seemed to be quieter but had the opportunity to view the other front rooms which were just as beautiful but on a busy street! just bring ear plugs;) We loved the staff and will recommend it!'

'A wonderful — and very beautiful — boutique hotel with kind and very efficient staff. They spoke English expertly and were eager to help in any way needed. The breakfasts provided were delicious! The hotel is a short walk to the major tourist and shopping sites. I would definitely stay here again on future visits to Oaxaca!'

'Highly recommend staying at Casa Sofi for your trip to Oaxaca. Excellent host that greeted us with the best tasting Mezcal. The room is very comfortable and the property is centrally located to everything. The grounds itself is very clean and safe. There is a communal kitchen that has everything to prepare a meal or store your leftovers in the refrigerator. Can’t wait to go back. '

"I paid for a room with 2 double beds, but received a room with 1 double bed and 1 single bed. When I told this to the reception they first did not want to help me at all, only after a discussion they told me they would change the room the next day. I did not receive any refund or apology for getting a 3 person room while paying for a 4 person room. Furthermore, the view from the windows of the room was a wall.. No sunlight entered the room. Very very bad customer service. Some staff were very friendly, but a few receptionists ruined it with their bad attitude."
