Christmas stay 2023
Not enough cutlery, glasses. 2 rings on hob broken. Oven not keeping to temperature. Fridge constant at freezing. Tv...set by someone at adult channels. Exoected full working kitchen as advertised...which is why we exoected to be able to cook our Christmas dinner without stress! Not enough staff on duty. Broken street doorbell to our spartment.

The property was on the third floor (4th floor for Americans) with no elevator. The kitchen appliances were old. When we arrived, the carpet outside the bathroom was soaking wet. We reported the problem and were given towels to lay on the floor. We thought that maintenance was going to look into the problem while we were out the next day but nothing was done. The best thing about the apartment was its location, which was walkable to shops and restaurants and to the ferry.

Property was very central, one street back from Main Street. Had a faulty hot water tap in bathroom. Was promised it would be fixed the next day. It wasn’t. Very limited cutlery

Couldnt log into free wifi in apartment, worked in Hotel reception 100 yards away gave up with asking reception, no laundry facilities although Hotels.com say there is and no housekeeping, appreciate restrictions in place but couldve left fresh towels etc at the door

kitchen equipment due for replacement.
The accommodation, place in Oban etc were perfect for what we needed. The kitchen equipment/cooker/lighting/ were pretty awful although we managed. The receptionist informed us that these were all due for replacement and we saw them currently in boxes in reception so I trust they will be fitted shortly. If you intend to do any cooking other than boiling a kettle check with the hotel that your apartment has been re-fitted. Would happily use the accommodation again if the kitchen equipment is replaced.

modern, clean and good location
Great location in Oban and the apartment we had was very clean, modern and had everything required to make your own lunch/ dinner including fridge / kettle etc. We didn’t have any tea towels or oven mit but we improvised and used a bathroom towel for cooking duty. Overall would recommend and stay here again if in Oban.

Apartment was very good in the main although the entrance area was not very nice. It's a shame this doesn't look like the actual hotel. Breakfast was pretty basic and a shame couldn't be enjoyed in the nice looking bar/restaurant area in the hotel. There was excessive noise on the Saturday night from a group of youngsters from around 1.30am - 3.30am and nobody from the hotel on shift to sort it out until the next day.

One night in Oban
Excellent one night stay for work, apartment was spotlessly clean and staff were extremely helpful. Social distancing measures all in place and i was very impressed considering this was only the second day of opening after lockdown. My only criticism was there were no forks, no washing up liquid and no dish towels/clothes in the apartment but this was resolved very quickly so nothing to complain about.

Great stay in a perfect location
Our 2 night stay was lovely. Room was clean and tidy, few small snags in the shower taking time to drain and i had to clean the shower hose which had a bit of grime on it, I am a bit of a clean freak so orhers may not have noticed! Other than that the room was spotless, had all things required for a short stay. We didnt cook, just prefer the space, but it was fully equipped if you so wish to cook.

Nice place to stay
The apartment was clean, comfortable, in a good location and spacious. The wifi didn’t work in unit 6 but the staff did their best to fix it and provided us breakfast for the inconvenience. There was no toaster and the bathroom sink is too tiny...

I can only apologise in regards to the wifi but I am glad to hear that you were compensated for this with a free breakfast. Unfortunately we cannot have toasters within the apartments due to them being a fire hazard. We hope you choose to stay with us again!

The room is located further down the street from reception next to a very loud pub. Calls to reception were not answered and the internet was down for the entire duration of the stay

We loved the space and comfort. The bed was fabulously comfortable and roomy. Easy walking distance to the centre of Oban and for everything else we needed.

Fab stay, fresh style, clean and would stay again
Great, easy stay for our overnight business trip to Oban. We opted for the apartment for ease and it was clean, fresh and had a few shortbreads and tea and coffee. Beds were comfy and bathroom clean. I would definitely stay again if in the area. We also tried the pub downstairs for food and it was very well priced and tasty. The room had an almost balcony with a window that slides open to reveal a little bit of Oban, nice touch.
