'Wir haben auf einer Motorrad Tour eine Nacht im Hotel Astoria verbracht. Vom Personal wurden wir sehr freundlich empfangen. Für die Motorräder gab es einen Platz in der Garage. Wir waren im neuen Anbau des Hauptgebäudes untergebracht. Das Zimmer war hell, sehr sauber und schön eingerichtet. Das zugehörige Restaurant bietet sehr leckere regionale Speisen zu vernünftigen Preisen. Auch das Frühstück war sehr gut. 'The hotel is nice, just a street from the tourist information office on a hill with good parking. They are very friendly and good food at night. We had a very nice room. Don't miss out on the coffee shop in the middle of town where you can book basejumping and rafting etc: really good food and drinks. '
'Gezellig budgetvriendelijk hotel met geweldige en sociale uitbater die alles binnen zijn mogelijkheden doet om gasten verder te helpen. Alle uitstapinfo geeft hij onmiddelijk zodat je niet op zoek moet gaan aan bv het station naar uren, of het beginpunt van je geplande bezoek. We hebben daar aardig wat tijd door gewonnen. Gezellig maar ook efficient, zo was de badkamer voorzien van handoekensets in verschillende kleuren. En er is een stopcontact aan beide nachttafels.

We had an amazing view of the mountains and could hear the bells on the sheep just down the road… and see the bunnies playing just outside our window by Hotel Edelweiss. The free breakfast was AMAZING and we had dinner there, too - also delicious. The staff was very attentive and helpful. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!'

'Wengen is a hidden gem and this property was fabulous! I stayed with my 4 kids on the top level, which was a space with 2 rooms and a loft. We had plenty of sleeping space and magnificent views of the mountains and valley. There are cute shops and fantastic restaurants in Wengen. Hotel Falken offered a nice breakfast, and the staff was welcoming and helpful to us during our stay.'

'We visited at the end of April when this hotel was still under construction. It was a minor inconvenience as we paid for a “garden view” when the view was a complete construction zone. They did upgrade our room size because of this. That being said, the restaurant was fantastic and the staff were very friendly. We stayed 2 nights and ate at the restaurant both nights. Their buffet breakfast is also amazing. Seeing that the hotel is no longer under construction, I would definitely stay here...
