This house was perfect for our extended stay in Ocala with our two dogs. The fenced in back yard overlooking a field of horses added to the convenient location in Ocala! Wonderful host, highly recommend.

We were grateful that the property owner allowed pets, however, we would have preferred to know before booking that pets aren’t allowed on the furniture. I probably would have booked somewhere else. Our dogs are like family and keeping them off the furniture is a bit challenging. The many fragile looking nick nacks sitting about the house were pretty, but they made me nervous that I might accidentally break something.It’s probably not fair to complain about noisy neighbors, but the next door children were loud and shouting as they played in the yard and street. They had a dog that they left outside barking A LOT! But at least they took it in at night. Check-in was easy, owner was quick to answer messages I sent. We had booked for 4 days but we were delayed by 2 days due to car trouble. I was disappointed the owner couldn’t give us some slack on the price as a compassionate gesture.

Very clean, easily accessible, and simple check-in. The area is very quiet with an occasional plane overhead, the backyard is very spacious and there are the most beautiful lights strung around the fire pit area that set the perfect vibe to just relax and reset.

Convenient and Safe

Great little house. Had everything we needed. Never had a chance to use the fire pit, but the back deck was lovely at the end of a long day. Can't beat the proximity to WEC/HITS and other amenities like Publix.

This was our 2nd stay at this property. The owner is so helpful, pleasant and kind. Upon arrive the home is always so! Clean and well stocked with all necessary appliances and basics. The view of the horses and pastures off the backyard is beautiful and a bit different each morning! My sister and I really enjoyed our 2nd stay as much as our 1st and we will be back!!

Inside of the property was spotless. Outside could use some updates but overall for the price you cannot beat it. Area is a mixture of older and newer homes. It was quiet, no issues. We will probably book again in February at this same property.

Restful and homey.

Communication was excellent. Ease of entering the property with owner’s instructions made our late night arrival simple. Our dog did not indicate that any other animals had even been there before! The backyard was spacious and maintained but not completely enclosed. The nighttime string lights were inviting. The extra welcoming touches (snacks!) made us feel welcomed and at home. Thanks for extra towels and availability of linens. There were even games! We found it easy to get around From the property in Ocala as we were attending many events.

Lovely backyard view- and ever so clean a home!

The sign in info was very easy and we were delighted to find that the house was exceptionally clean! The towels-kitchen -bathroom were all immaculate. We were happy to find the washer/dryer with laundry supplies. The backyard view into the open field was lovely and we enjoyed sitting outside-just way more of a view and space than we’d anticipated! It was January, and a bit cold some days- if we’d spent more time on the back deck, we’d have appreciated a small end table and comfy chairs, but that’s a minor thing. The only downside was neighborhood loose dogs which wandered around occasionally. The house is conveniently located and for us a perfect location. Helen was quick to answer questions and very helpful! Thank you very much-we plan on coming back often! Diane
