Cozy east-facing studio in the much sought after Makai building located bayside on 42nd street in Ocean City, Maryland. This charming studio is perfect for two people consisting of a combined living room/bedroom with a queen bed, a fully-equipped kitchen, DirectTV and internet, and a full bathroom. Note a third person can be accommodated as there is a single air mattress as well. The building is next door to the Ocean City Convention Center, plus a short walk to a number of dining establishments including the Dough Roller, Belly Busters, Seacrets and the 45th street TapHouse. You can walk a block to the beach or take a quick drive south to the downtown attractions like the famous OC Boardwalk, Jolly Roger and the Inlet. The building has two elevators serving all floors, an indoor pool, ground floor lounge with free internet access, fitness center and billiards room. Property rents any 3 nights all year!
Guest supplies sheets and towels. A washer and dryer are provided in the unit for your convenience. An optional linen package is available for purchase and would be delivered to the condo on your day of arrival and picked up on your day of departure. The package includes sheet sets for both beds, and towel sets for 3 people. Non-smoking. No pets, please. Property owner does not permit group rentals to guests under the age of 25.

Nice little quaint place

We had a nice stay, the property was well maintained and met our needs for what we needed which was a balcony that over looked Coastel Highway. Only complaint was the DirectTV did not work. We did let thw office staff know but it was never esolved.

The room was okay, the pictures online certainly made the room look bigger than it is; as well there was a lot of minor cleaning issues. (Hair on the bathroom floor, and the entire place was very dusty). After cleaning some myself, it was okay.

Perfect for a couple!

This was a nice little spot! It was small, but perfect for what we needed. The bed was comfy, but not a queen. Very grateful for the role out cot for our son. It would have been a tight squeeze without it! The location was great, and everything was as the photos showed!

Good place to stay

We enjoyed both the location the setup of this little place. For a family/couple that is constantly on the go and doesn’t need more than eat/sleep, this is a great place to be. If you spend a lot of time in the room, it’s probably not for you as it’s a studio and doesn’t have any “sitting area”. The balcony furniture is great for reading and morning, evening coffee space. We had no issues with neighbors. We enjoyed the pool tables in the common area. Unfortunately we had no use for the pool because it was just too nice out at the beach (not a bad thing).

Memorial Day Stay

Great stay overall. Only downfall was on the first morning we attempted to cook breakfast and when my mom turned the burner on it made a pop sound…and the glass cracked. Therefore, we were unable to cook the meals as planned. Instead of going out for dinner Saturday and Sunday and cook breakfast and lunch the three days we stayed we had to do all all meals after Saturday mornings attempt to cook breakfast. Created a bit of unexpected expenses. Other then the stove, our stay was wonderful. Thanks!

I really can't think of anything I didn't like about our stay here. After hour check-in was simple. The room was perfect size for 2. I loved the location, only thing I would change would be upgrade to a Keurig coffee machine. Definitely coming back

Nice weekend getaway!

This was a nice place and very convenient! I ended up walking to most places. The unit itself is exactly as described. Needed to bring my own sheets and towels. I thought the bathtub could use either an upgrade or a plumber check. It did not drain fast so I was standing in shower water which isn't great. Overall a nice place to stay and I would stay again!

Family trip

First time booking with this host and vrbo. Check in process went very smooth. Parking was simple, room was clean, smelled nice and looked as the pictures. Beach was within reasonable walking distance even with toting along chairs and sand toys. We even had a couple of issues we needed to communicate with central reservations/host and they were addressed promptly. Would definitely. Insider staying again! We had a great time!

The only things I could recommend is putting some grip tape on the little carpet in the living area, adding a few more pieces of silverware and possibly upgrading to a keurig coffee maker. Otherwise we loved it!!!

Our process to stay was very stress free and relaxing. Check in was simple. We had to leave a day early due to a family emergency and it was after office hours but there was a drop off box to return everything for early departures which was very helpful. Would absolutely recommend.

Perfect place for the 2 of us. The only suggestion is it would be nicer if the bed was a little bigger. A double size bed is a little snug for adults. But very nice otherwise.

Nice getaway stay.

The property overall was great. The location for where we wanted to be was perfect. We spent most of our time on the balcony. However, the bed was a little small for 2 people. A queen size bed would be better. Also there was no coffee pot as was listed in the description. There could also be some cleaning supplies on the property just to clean some things up. Overall we had a great time.
