The Golden Sands, located in Ocean City, offers everything a vacationer could want without needing to leave the building complex. Enjoy the beach, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis, oceanfront volleyball, and game and exercise rooms! During the summer season, visit the beach bar and grill, sandwich shop, convenience store, and gift shops.

Wake up every single day to the unmistakable sound of the crashing waves at this beach condo! It has everything you and your guests could ever need to spend a carefree and restful vacation. It features a well-equipped kitchen with all the essentials, including a breakfast bar for quick meals on the go, central air-conditioning, a private balcony with terrific views, on-site washer/dryer for your laundry needs, comfortable and inviting furniture, and TV with cable.

Things to Know
The building provides complimentary WiFi as a courtesy, but it is not guaranteed.
This retreat features a den/sunroom that can be used as another bedroom/private sleeping area for your convenience.
The indoor pool will be closed beginning Monday, March 2, 2026 through Friday, March 14, 2026 for our annual maintenance. The pool will reopen on Saturday, March 15, 2026.
The indoor pool and large outdoor pool will not accommodate children in diapers. There is an outdoor kiddie pool provided for children in diapers.
Per building management, cannabis is prohibited everywhere on the Golden Sands grounds.
Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Nice place

The condo was nice. It needed some cosmetic work- nothing major. Bed in 2nd bedroom was much too soft. Beautiful ocean view. Bright and cheery. 10 digit code to unlock/lock the door a bit much- too difficult to remember. 6 digits would have been more appropriate and still very safe. Outdoor Pool area was ok- nothing special, but nice to have an outdoor pool. Also nice to have a gym, even if equipment was old.

the condo was clean except for some sands on the floors and they only gave us 6 towels and wash clothes and 2 rolls of toilet paper for 4 people staying 4 nights. The bottom bunk was not comfortable and the heater in the bedroom closet was noisy so didn't get much sleep.

Our much needed vacation!

We saw this listing and the price was fair. We arrived on a Sunday and were able to get our parking pass easily. They only allowed us to have one assigned parking space. We had two cars, there is Municipal Parking 2 blocks down (a short walk). When we got to the room, it was fairly clean at first glance. The kitchen appliances were updated since the pictures were taken on the listing. The master bath shower curtain had mold on it. The sliding glass door was near impossible to open. There was so much sand in the track (assuming that was the issue). The vents had dust balls in them. We needed to use the pull out sofa and when we removed the cushions from the couch, there were crumbs all in the bed and the bed was broken. When we laid on it, it was sitting at an angle, we put the cushions under the opposite end to hold the bed up. The air conditioning unit is in the bunk bed room and was very loud at night. Also, the closet in the master bedroom was stuffed with furniture that when we opened it to put our hanging clothes inside, the furniture fell out of the closet. I sent a message to the management company. They did call and ask if they could come and fix the issues but we had too many plans. We enjoyed our stay at Golden Sands and they have a lot of amenities and a short walk to the beach. Also, I had called ahead of time to ask if they provided pots and pans for cooking, they said they did not, but they did. We would stay there again, hoping it would be cleaner next time.

This condo was in pretty good shape. We had 1 big problem. Second bedroom air conditioner was in the closet and was very noisy. Ir was imposible to sleep in that room. We moved 1 mattress to the living room floor and slept there for 7 nights.
