Best pet rental ever
Everything you need is there, even bowls for the dog. It's the first time I've seen a dog friendly porch! See through screen all the way around and a gate to keep the dog safe and humans relaxed.

Great Easter weekend
Traveled with the family for a mini spring break/Easter weekend trip. Great stay. Excellent location. We loved the big porch to hang out and listen to the ocean. Would stay again!

Very Accommodating
Great house, very clean and accommodating for us and our senior puppy dog. We loved hanging out on the front porch and having the beach access right across the street. It was so nice being able to close the porch gate and keep our pup on the porch in the shade while we sat in the sun. The host is very responsive and helpful, and they are generous with all the chairs, bikes, and games available for use with the house. Very enjoyable stay!

Lovely Property
We enjoyed our stay in Ocean Isle. It is nice house that has been loved by someone for quite some time. It has easy beach access across the street. Fully equipped kitchen. Bring your own sheets and towels. This helps the owner to minimize cost, which benefits everyone.

Perfect piece of paradise
We felt right at home! Everything was perfect! Clean and quiet! Bed was comfy and all appliances worked great! Dean was so pleasant from the beginning with communication. Recommend this place to anyone that likes fishing and relaxing on the porch or beach!

The convenience of this property cannot be overstated. It is just 30 steps to beach access. As for the house, it was pet friendly, so practical with water outlets up and down on the front deck as well as underneath in the parking area. It was completely furnished, and nicely arranged. I will be looking to stay there again very soon. We loved it!!

Nice place
It was a nice place to stay. It is a little outdated and some things need a little work but overall it was a nice place. Everything was set up perfectly for our dogs that we brought with us which made it even nicer. We enjoyed our stay!

Thanks for your review Amanda. I’ve never heard mention of the house not being clean before. I have a great cleaning service where the owner of the service inspects before telling me it’s ready but I’ll let them know

Family Summer Vacation
You can't beat the location - right across the street from the beach. The house was perfect for my wife and i and three teenagers and dog. Kitchen is stocked with all necessary items, including paper products. The bikes were a plus along with some of the beach equipment. We definitely enjoyed our stay.

Charming & cozy OIB cottage!
Sea Jade is the perfect beach getaway! It’s so charming and convenient! We loved being directly across the street from the beach access. Our family made wonderful summer vacation memories here! The host Dean is very kind, gracious and thinks of every detail! He stocks all supplies you can imagine, including paper products, ziplocks, dishliquid, laundry detergent, and every kitchen item & appliance you need. It’s super clean and feels like home. We had so much fun grilling out, playing cornhole, taking walks on the beach with our dog, and relaxing in the hammock & porch rocking chairs. It was also great having an outdoor shower and laundry room. We’re already looking forward to our next stay at Sea Jade! Thank you Dean!

Pet Stacular!
Perfect place for our stay which included 4 adults and a dog named Bennie who belongs to our son and his fiancee. This little beach house was absolutely perfect for what we needed, and having the beach access directly across the street was very convenient. The front porch and sun sail is a really great place to hang out.

Couldn’t be better if it tried
We had such a wonderful time here. Thank you for having such a well stocked pantry (paper towels, tp, ziploc bags, trash bags, laundry detergent, dishwasher tabs, etc). It was such an easy way to the beach in the mornings and we loved having evening drinks with our dog on the porch. Very clean and comfortable. We already rebooked for next year!

Great Place to Stay
This house was everything it said in the description. We really enjoyed it and would recommend it! It was very clean and the location was great. We loved sitting on the front porch and we liked being able to bring our dog. The house is equipped with more than enough of everything you need. We had no problems at all. Highly recommend!!!

Great little get away
While we did visit in the most freezing temperatures of the year the house was cozy and felt like home. We cooked great meals with the wide assortment of pots and pans and enjoyed very cold but beautiful sunrises and sunsets being only walking distance to the beach. This would be the perfect place for a summer time retreat, he has all the games and activities you could want available!! Thanks so much for a great stay!

Ian almost ruined my mini-vaca
This property was awesome and the property contact (Dean Cain) was wonderful. Dean called to check up on us since Hurricane Ian was barreling its way up the East Coast. He even offered for us to stay an extra day just in case we were unable to leave the island. I will definitely use VRBO again and I will specifically look for properties managed by Dean Cain. Terrific beach house
Nice beach house— great location just at a public access point to the beach. Dean’s communication is terrific. The house has any amenity you could want. There are many thoughtful extras like binoculars, bikes, beach cart, rafts, ping pong table, etc. Dean provided so many items like trash bags, dishwashing soap, tissues, toilet paper so we did not have to run out and buy a bunch of stuff. We enjoyed the front porch with a gate to keep the dogs in. Would definitely recommend this house!

House is very nice. All amenities supplied. Full kitchen, nicely equipped. Nice eating area. Two sitting areas. Everything provided. Nice bedrooms. A walk in shower and a tub shower, the walk in shower is good for us older folks.. the under the house area is nice. Shower, sink beach chairs, bicycles a ping pong table, a beach cart., coolers. Easy access to beach. House is pet friendly. Enough hot water for all 5 of us.. easy check in process. Host is very responsive and will check on you prior to arrival via Vrbo.. iIt was one of my nicest vacation stays.. the porch is really nice with rockers, deck seating and a nice sunshade. Even porch is pet friendly, with a gate to close on the deck. House was very clean. Many supplies were provided. Dish detergent, paper towels, dish washer detergent trash bags, fridge with ice maker. Place is very clean and well cared for. This was our second year and hope to be back for a third. Great value for what you get.. good location, easy access to many eating places and stores. I just can’t say enough good things about this property and the host. Plenty of parking.. The yard is nice and well cared for. The only bad thing was when our time ended and we had to go home. We had such a great time. I would highly recommend this property for a vacation stay!

Nice home for a vacation
The flooring was a nice upgrade, furniture is comfortable. The night temperature dipped into the 40's along with wind, could be felt through the drafty bedroom windows though. The inclosed deck is wonderful the furry family. Thanks Dean for sharing your home

Perfect in all ways
My wife and I travel a lot, we have stayed at many fine resorts and hotels. We will never stay at those again . Dean has provided a place that is not only pet friendly but it fella like home. Anything and everything buoy need is there , all you need is your food!! The price was the same as many resorts we stay at but the comfort level is much better and being able to have our fur babies there make is so much better. Thank you Dean for letting us enjoy this weekend, the best anniversary ever

Location was great for the beach. The deck had a gate to the stairs which was nice for the grandkids and dogs to go out but stay safely on the deck. Could use some updating, but otherwise everything was good!

Quick beach trip
Home was just as described and suited our needs nicely. A mostly relaxing stay that my family enjoyed, although he neighbors (college age large group) were extremely noisy and disrespectful. Beach is a short walk and the town of Ocean Isle is pleasant and has several good restaurants and a nice pier with activities for pre-teens. We would consider renting again.

Early Spring Retreat
