Overall review
We really enjoyed staying there. I love to cook and the kitchen was probably the best start kitchen I have ever been to while traveling. The recliner was nice but it was wore out. Overall, a very positive review.

First family beach vacation on OIB
Family beach vacations are always too short! This one was no different, maybe even more so as there was so much to do. The beach closet contained so much beach accessories that if we had forgotten anything we were covered. The beach access with the pool just a short walk away, also the crab dock with the crab trap the kiddos were always excited to check on the daily “catch “. The kitchen was very well appointed for most all of our cooking needs as we are a family of professional chefs, cooks and foodies. If there had been bad weather we could have played games for hours as the entertainment cabinet was filled with board games. Luckily we had great weather. The only negatives would be the kitchen table and chairs are in need of replacement or refinishing. Also as with most rental properties it could use an overall end of season updating. Dan was a very attentive host and seemed genuinely concerned and committed to our enjoyable stay.

Awesome House
We had a great week at Ocean Isle Beach! This house is the best beach house we have ever rented. The layout of the house was perfect for our growing family. The kitchen was very well stocked and the home is very well maintained. We also appreciate how prompt the owner was when responding to our questions.

Perfect house at OIB in NC for a family of 11!

Great Stay!
This is a great house for a fun week's stay at OIB. The kitchen is well equipped. Lots of deck space and chairs. More than enough room for our family of 9 to spread out comfortably. Lot's of games and toys on hand for the kids including beach gear. Short walk to the beach access and pool. Highly recommend.

Great place!
This property met our needs and our family enjoyed our stay. The bedrooms were all a good size. It was great having our separate bathrooms as well. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking meals. It was a little disorganized but I expected that from a rental property. The kitchen was spacious and the dining table accommodated 10 people with and bar stools for the rest of our group. It was a little crowded and could have used more seating in the gathering/family room. The decking/balcony/outdoor furniture was very nice and we used it every day. There were a variety of kids toys and even a wagon in the downstairs closet for use. We appreciated a short walk to the beach access as well as the pool. If you are sensitive to light when you sleep, notice that each bedroom has transom windows and most do not have blinds or coverings. We had a great week at this location.

Great family vacation home
This is a great home for a large extended family. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and two levels allow for some space. We also spent a lot of time on the deck. The home is a very short walk to the beach, no need for a golf cart. The host was very responsive to any questions. We had a wonderful week at Ocean Isle and hope to return soon!

Perfect Beach Vacation
I can’t imagine a better location or better home. Fully stocked for your family’s beach vacation, this home is great! We had one small issue while at the house and Dan was responsive very quickly. This was our first time to Ocean Isle and we will be back. Thank you Dan!

Great beach house
Great place to stay. Well equipped home with nice location to visit OIB. We enjoyed staying in this well equipped property. The kitchen was well furnished with cooking equipment. Love the ice maker! Two grills. Nice layout with baths off each bedroom. Property nicely maintained. A plethora of deck options. Easy walk to the ocean front HOA pool. Dan was excellent and readily available to answer any questions we had. We would easily stay here again.

The house was lovely with a well equipped kitchen. We are a family of cooks so it was greatly appreciated. Dealing with Dan, the owner, was a real pleasure. He was so pleasant , readily available and promptly responded to our questions. We have been coming to OIB for a long time and this house is the one we enjoyed the most!

Everything was good. Short, easy walk to the beach and pool. Plenty of room for our family and a well stocked kitchen. The cleaning crew could do a better job, mainly in the bathrooms.

We loved staying at "Conched Out". It's a beautiful, clean, spacious house. We liked have a living area on both floors and the big kitchen. Short walk to beach and access to ocean front pool was great.

Expectations were better than we thought they would be.
The house was furnished very nicely. The owners had more "supplies" than we thought there would be (pots/pans/toys/dishes). I brought more than I needed to. We were very pleased with the accommodations. Close to the beach and everything else in Ocean Isle Beach. We would rent again. The owner "Dan" answered all my texts quickly.

Nice house
We finally got in about 5:30 as cleaners were late getting there. They could have done a little better job cleaning. The house was very functional with the elevator to the top floor kitchen and the below the counter ice maker. The rooms and bathrooms were nice. The extra TV room on the first floor was nice for the little ones. Great stay. Outside shower was great. Did not use the beach front pool but did use the golf cart parking a couple of times. Highly recommend this house if you have children and cannot afford to stay on the ocean. No complaints.

The Saturday in July 4 week is the busiest for cleaning crews at the coast, but it is our objective to have the home ready for our guests when they check in and I apologize for it not being completed when you arrived.. Amazing house!

Easter Vacation
This was our second year staying in this house and it was again GREAT! Spacious bedrooms to accommodate our adults and children! The back porch is always a great spot for the grandchildren to play. The added grill was great for a couple of our meals. The weather was good but two windy on a couple of days to spend on the beach. So we checked out the common pool area which was GREAT! We had not investigated this last year but so glad we did this year! Thank you for the wonderful accommodations and for sharing your house with us! We'll look forward to coming back next year!

Our bookclub trip.
We were very happy with the house. The walk to the pool was very close and we were able to enjoy it by ourselves. The owner is very nice and very quick to reply to questions. We had no issues at all. The elevator was definitely a plus for a few of the ladies. Enjoyed our trip and would reccomend staying here.

great week
We had a great time at OIB this year and the house was great. It was close to the beach access; only downfall to then location was the amount of steps to maneuver with 3 wagons/beach carts and small children but we managed and I'm sure that most locations have steps to the beach. The downstairs closet was loaded with play toys for the beach.The house was well stocked. The owner responded to correspondence quickly and answered any questions/concerns promptly. So grateful that we had great weather and a wonderful stay here.

Post-pandemic paradise
It felt so great to get back to the beach after a year+ of keeping our distance. My family had a wonderful time. We have small children (3 and under) and the house was well equipped for our stay, including toys, a safety gate for the stairs and a fun room with bunk beds! The kids also loved the short walk to the beach, the private pool and the crab dock. We also took advantage of the short, 10-minute walk to restaurants, coffee shop, wine bar, park and other attractions in OIB. Dan was so responsive to all questions. We had a small issue with the AC, and Dan had a repair man out to look at it immediately. We couldn't have asked for a better return to the beach.

Perfect Beach Get-away!
The home is beautiful & clean. Well laid out for a large group like ours, and the elevator was AMAZING for carrying up luggage & groceries! Location to the beach was perfect!! Just a short walk, so it was easy to carry a beach bag & chair. (Tip: You do have to go up & down stairs to get to the beach, which is the case all over the island, so it might take 2 adults with small children or a wagon. However, that has nothing to do with the property.) The outdoor shower was wonderful for after the beach. It is private, so most of use used that shower! There is also a clothes line for wet bathing suits near the outdoor shower. The storage closet has beach chairs, a wagon, and children's beach toys. However, if you want some outdoor games for the evenings, you might want to bring them (ie. Ring Toss, Corn Hole, etc.) There were lots of indoor games, puzzles, and books for all ages, as well as practically every TV option (Disney, Sling, Netflix, Hulu, Sports, & many more...) Dan was very responsive and great to deal with when we had questions. We all had a wonderful time & will definitely look for this property on our next trip to Ocean Isle Beach! Thanks, Dan!

My girlfriends and I had a girls weekend at this beautiful property! The outside porch seating was lovely and plentiful! The short walk to the beach access was a huge plus. We had a blast and even talked about future weekends here. Dan was prompt at responding and with bookings allowing, we had an extended check out time which was AMAZING!! A hidden gem
We had a wonderful time! The home, the area, and the owners were absolutely lovely. Little welcome surprises when we arrived really added to the stay. Very clean!
