'I use this property to overnight when I was diving. The power is only on at night but the breeze and fan was adequate for getting us good night's sleep. The water is solid although I didn't trust it for drinking. The owners couldn't have been nicer and they included breakfast was good.'

'The treetop bungalows were unique and a special lodging experience. We had tree monkeys visit us for 2 of our 3 days on our deck. The room was clean with nice amenities like a fresh water ice machine & air conditioning. Gratis bikes were a great way to get around the property - and the private island was a nice feature with complementary boat rides running every 15 minutes.'

'We had a fantastic time of 2 nights at SOY Local Islawa. Prior to our arrival, the hotel contacted us via app to see how we had arranged our trip to the location and we were given a number of options. Accommodation is only accessible by boat, which was offered free of charge. Our room was really fantastic. Cool by the Arco, clean, lovely bed and a very large nice shower. Kayak is free to use. 'This is a gem located at the end of Playa Blanca. The owner Daisy is an incredible entrepreneur. She has designed and built this place with attention to detail. Her care and hospitality is unrivalled - she helped us (family of 5 with 3 kids aged 14, 13 and 11) with transportation both to and from the hotel, and really cared about us.
