Prachtig gelegen direct aan het strand in Oceano, biedt dit huis aan de oceaan een prachtige, rustige ontsnapping voor uw gezin, uw beste vrienden of uw boekenclub in het weekend. Word elke ochtend wakker met de bezienswaardigheden en geluiden van de Stille Oceaan en drink uw koffie op een van de twee glazen dekken met een eigen bubbelbad, een schommelbank en prachtig uitzicht op het water. Dit prachtig verbouwde huis beschikt ook over drie open haarden, een pingpongtafel in de garage en een vloot fietsen om rond de buurt te nemen.

Dit met licht gevulde huis ligt direct aan het strand in Oceano en biedt een eigen loopbrug van de achtertuin naar het zand. U kunt de Dune Trail of de Beach Trail in Oceano Dunes Natural Preserve direct ten noorden verkennen, of een paar sensaties opdoen met een excursie naar het Oceano Dunes State Vehicular recreatiegebied net daarbuiten. Het hart van Oceano ligt 1,6 km landinwaarts, Pismo Beach (de thuisbasis van de beroemde Pismo Beach Pier en de Monarch Butterfly Grove) ligt 5 km ten noorden, en het charmante stadje San Luis Obispo wacht 15 km ten noorden.

Het strand is te zien vanuit het huis, dat een eigen loopbrug heeft vanuit de achtertuin die rechtstreeks naar het zand leidt. Er is een ruimte waar kinderen direct achter het huis kunnen spelen. Houd er rekening mee dat dit een van de weinige stranden is die voertuigen op het zand toestaat, dus er kunnen voertuigen aan het water zijn.

Couldn’t ask for a better view! Plenty of room for our large family. The only complaints are it could use a new bbq and more working lights. There are a lot of switches that don’t turn anything on.

House was clean and a bit dated but cozy for our group of 3 families! Location was awesome- kids loved running out to play on the sand and we enjoyed exploring local restaurants and nature walks that were a short drive away. No real surprises- listing was as expected!

We loved the property, though based on the weekend we chose, there was more "on the beach, 4-wheel drive traffic." If you are an early riser, the beach is serene and beautiful in the morning hours before all the cars go back and forth (which is somewhat surreal).  We did love the beach access for walks and bonfire-making. The house has many coffee cups and fun pics of people posing with these artifacts. The pantry is filled with needed cooking and serving surprises. The place was clean and very spacious. It's a quirky, friendly, sweet, functional space.  The location is excellent as you are 10-15 minutes away from various fun escapades (Madonna Inn, Butterfly Sanctuary, downtown SLO & Arroyo Grande for more food, walking, and shopping pleasure.). We had some hiccups with the Bose Soundsystem and the downstairs fireplaces.  Vacasa Property Rental did its best to solve and accommodate these issues.  We appreciate their efforts, and in the end, they stood accountable - a tough trait to find these days.  #grateful This spot is worth the stay - book it!

Great Beach House for a Big Family!

We loved the huge table in the dining room. It has a spectacular view of the ocean and was perfect for all of our meals together as a group of 10! We played games and worked on puzzles as a family at the table too. It was kind of our favorite spot (other than the beach and deck!)

Great Stay

We had an amazing stay and could not have been more happy in this home. Host company was responsive, attentive and made us feel like a priority. Kayla was helpful and kind. When we noticed a few light bulbs out, they were there first thing next morning. Beach access is perfect and our kids loved it. Thank you for a wonderful family vacation and memories.

FAMILY CELEBRATION!

This home and location was Amazing!! We had so much Fun on the beach...right outside the door...grandkiddos had fun body surfing the sand dunes and kite flying! We enjoyed a beautiful sunset from the balcony and the sounds of the ocean. The Bunk Room was Perfect for the Grandkids...and Grandparents. Also, special time playing ping pong! We enjoyed a Fantastic few days together! Thank You!

Fantastic home for a getaway

Location, location, location. Daily walks on the beach and enjoying sunset at night. Proximity to the butterfly grove, the town of Pismo Beach, Paso Robles and San Luis Obispo was perfect. This home has a beautiful master suite, 4 bathrooms, a large table for game nights, and a nice sized deck. My only complaint (which is minor) is that the deck railing obstructed the view of the sunset if you’re sitting on the deck chairs.

Beach Getaway

Perfect location with awesome views for our beachfront getaway. This home had plenty of space with a bed for each of our 8 adult women. The decorating scheme was very eclectic and fun. While the furniture was quite worn and somewhat uncomfortable, that did not take away from our experience. Would have been nice to know that the built in microwave and ice maker did not work and the windows definitively needed cleaning. But, we would definitely come again.

Great For a Large Group

This is on the beach. It is a great place to stay if playing in the ocean is what you want to do. Our group enjoyed this immensely. The beach was clean and well monitored. The house is an older one but was nice for our large group.

Great beach house

Amazing house great for a large family gathering. Plenty of room for the whole family. The bunk room for all the kids works out perfect. Only wish the cleaning would’ve been a little better prior to our arrival. Some beds still had a little sand in them, and none of the windows were washed and cleaned for the balcony and view of the ocean. Management responded quickly to any issues we had. They were easy to deal with and would definitely stay here again.

A few issues

One of the twin beds had wet bedding.. Possibly a cleaning agent was spilled. Had to wash and dry. Need new fry pans and additional flatware. No storage in the kitchen for our groceries. Had to keep on floor in boxes we had. No additional toilet paper. No batteries for the remote in the master bedroom fireplace. Would have been nice for the windows on the terrace to have been cleaned. Overall we had a great time. Kids loved playing on the dunes. Called and emailed manager, no response. Yes would recommend to friends.

Nice home! We had a wonderful time here at the house. Weather was a bit chilly but overall beautiful and fun! Wish the property manager replied to VRBO messaging for ease of communication.

Really Weird house!

Let's start with the good: easy check-in, comfy and clean beds, lovely view of the ocean. Not so good: All windows were filthy so we cleaned them to be able to see the view. Tons of burnt out lights, we had to call to have bathroom lights fixed so we could see (they were very responsive to our call). Hot tub empty. The batteries died on the lock to the house. Only one of the three fireplaces actually work. Personal items everywhere, we felt like we were in someone's actual home (personal belongings in drawers). Kitchen was filthy. Sticky utensils, chipped dishes, dented and warped pots and pans. blankets in living room basked need washing. Not enough cutlery for 8 people. Kitchen is a disaster! Absolutely not what we expected for the price. If kitchen is completely cleared out, cleaned and replaced with new dishes, pots/pans and cutlery it would be a great improvement.

Casa de Cuckoo Family Getway

Great place for family vacations! All the kids loved the bunk-bed room. Also, we loved the decor and theme of the beach-house. ATV, beach, and one of the best places to enjoy a sunset. As a parent with two little ones, I couldn't ask for more in a VRBO listing. Thank you for sharing your amazing home!

Amazing Beach House for Groups

We came up with 11 family members and thoroughly enjoyed the house. The house is huge with tons of sleeping options for everyone. The "kids" 18-25 took over the bunk room and had a blast! The house is clean, comfortable and very well stocked. The best of all was the view of the dunes and ocean. We loved it and hope to return next year.

Great property.

Great ocean view, great layout, plenty of space. West windows in Living room were full of cobwebs and very dirty. Clear wall windows on patio were filthy. I cleaned them myself in order to enjoy the view to the fullest. Was not the cleanest home but the house itself was wonderful. For the amount of money that was paid to stay in this home, I would expect it to be spotless. That would be the only reason I would consider not renting it again. May want to look into a new cleaning service.
