I called the property the day before letting them know I was so ill and there was no way I could travel and would have to miss my event. The guy who answered was so off putting and rude and told me to contact Expedia, as the hotel wouldn't refund me and said, well, give the room to a friend. So, I tried Expedia, whose chat was down, no way to speak with anyone. I tried again on Sunday as I was too sick to deal over the weekend. They contacted to hotel, who refused to refund me...
Needless to say, I won't be staying at any Holiday Inn again, and, I'm cancelling my Expedia acct.
