'Het hotel is ok. Kamer is ruim en goed uitgerust. Er is een binnen en buiten zwembad. Staf bij de receptie is echter verveeld en onvriendelijk. Uitchecken is niet zomaar gebeurt. Beddengoed moet afgehaald worden en handdoeken op de vloer. Servies met de hand afwassen als er geen vaatwasser is. Je vraagt je zelf af wat de schoonmakers nog moeten doen. Voor een kort verblijf zou ik hier zeker niet meer verblijven. Zeker ook omdat het wat uit de buurt ligt van doorgaande wegen.'

'Such a cozy cabin in the woods! We brought our own bird feeders and food and the birds came in immediately. We really enjoyed the peace and tranquillity. The cabin had a lovely porch with a patio table and chairs and we enjoyed our morning coffee listening to birdsong'

'We booked this house as the venue for our wedding, and it was absolutely perfect! Every room was gorgeous, with elegant décor and plenty of space for our guests. Even the bathrooms were stunning, making every part of the home feel special. The kitchen had everything we needed to host our 50-person wedding, from all the utensils to the appliances, making meal prep and serving a breeze. 'It was the short weekend runaway we needed and were looking forward to. It's a quick ride to Pittsfield but we decided to cross the border to Manchester, VT. The place was as described, quiet, clean, secluded but easy to find. The Lake was fantastic but, due to weather, decided against taking the kayaks out. Perhaps next time. Thanks to Rich for being a great and gracious host!'

'Lovely home. Plenty of room for all of us (11 adults, 2 children). Generally very clean. Plenty of cooking materials, linens, etc. T.v. with huge screen. Two kitchens plus bbq grill. Nice location. Negatives: - Stove tops and oven were not clean. Oven smoked when we first turned it on and the smoke alarm did not go off. - No AC. Fans were fine for us in May but it might be warm in August.Overall, we had a great time. We would stay at this house again. '
