'Great little sanctuary within the city. The property is large with surrounding walls so it is quiet apart from birds and nature sounds despite being in the city. The room was so cute and ac worked very well. No hot water but you definitely don't need it in Iquitos. The breakfast was very good and served to your door - bread with jam, eggs, plantains, fresh juice, and coffee.'
'So it’s not right next to central Iquitos, but that doesn’t matter. Central is a quick moto taxi ride for very cheap, or a 15-20 minute walk. What matters to me is how nice this place was. Iquitos is a rowdy town. It’s lively with a lot of hustle and bustle. This property is not: it is serene. I loved it so much, I ended up staying an extra night. 'Ample kitchen with plenty of pots, pans, dishes, utensils etc. Very close to good grocery stores like La cadena (my new favorite) and Los Portales. Free drinking water near the front desk for your water bottles.'
