'Wij hebben de reis via internet geboekt. De omschrijving sloot echter niet aan bij de werkelijkheid. De locatie zoals gemeld - in het centrum - is een duister kantoor waarvandaan we in het donker naar de lodge, een half uur over de rivier, werden gevaren. De lodge is prachtig gelegen. 'It's pretty basic, hot and sticky with plenty of flying, buzzing, screeching creatures, but you're in the rainforest so what do you expect? The main lodge meeting area is open plan, very spacious with plenty of place to chill, except you can't because it's flipping hot! 'My wife and I had an amazing time. We really loved it! Sandra and her team did everything they could to make our stay comfortable. We were fed well and the food was amazing! They really care about the rainforest and work with a local wildlife rescue that rescues animal and rehabilitates them to go back into the wild. When you stay here, you help them with their mission to protect the Amazon rainforest. Alejandro was an amazing guide and has a great eye for spotting wildlife. Definitely...

'We had a great time at the lodge! Many activities such as fishing, visiting an island of monkeys, and seeing a lot of wild animals. Given the fact that there is little or no electricity, we were able to disconnect ourselves for a few days in order to really relax. The rooms are very charming and the staff was great to answer questions and concerns. Our guide Manuel was great!! Very recomendable because he really knew his way along the jungle and never made us feel anything less than spectacular....
