'When choosing this beautiful location we were originally looking at staying in Opotiki (15 kms south) but decided this was a far better option based on the ammenities and views offered. The price was also less than staying in your standard motel in town.
Our host was there to meet us and made us feel most welcome explaining the options and set up. He recommended a wonderful restaurant for dinner ( The Royal) and we weren’t disappointed at all.
The surrounding area is rich with native birds...

'Exceptionally clean overall, but especially wonderful to have crisp white sheets, a change of towels, and warm comfortable rooms. Each bedroom had its own TV as well as one in the lounge area. A lovely Island vibe, warm fuzzies everywhere.
Kitchen was the most well equipped I have ever seen: full cooker - stove and 4 elements, air fryer, microwave, coffee machine, a selection of teas, coffee, and home-baking for a surprise welcome.
