This place use to be in great shape. Now it's definitely showing signs of lack of upkeep. The carpets are frayed and dirty in the room we were in. There is a smell of mold starting to form. Or for had duct tape at the top of it to cover the space between the door and the frame. There were bugs in our sink. The hot water was not working on our room and the outdoor hot tub was not working. Then breakfast in the morning use to be a lot more robust. Now it's not much to choose from at all. The lobby is still beautiful but even our porch had trash including used rubber gloves and a used condom on it. Even the indoor Roman bath had a film on it with clumps of hair floating in it (gross!) When we went to check in we were waiting for 20 min at the front desk with others and could hear employees talking out back. We tried to call for them with no luck. When they did come out at least they were friendly. The lobby is very nice but don't be fooled it's just a cover for what's behind it.

We are frequent visitors to Meadowmere - Our last visit was this past weekend (02/22-02/242024) and it happened to be school break week. Our generally tranquil resort was turned in to a children's playground. It was VERY busy. The staff handled the crowds well - while they did run out of towels a couple of times the front desk was very helpful in finding more or getting them washed. We love Meadowmere but we will check the school vacation schedule before our next visit.

We have been coming here for years and even in the winter it’s a nice relaxing getaway with great restaurants surrounding and our favorite part is enjoying the outdoor hot tub (especially when it snows)!

The Movie Theater we always use every year was unusable on Saturday night for movies. The staff had no keys tgen got in eventually but didnt know how to set up the movie fir both nights we were there. Otherwise besides no free breakfast anymore it was a great stay. Roomsvwere quiet and comfortable and convenient. :)

The Roman Spa. Room was cozy and bed comfortable. Had a in room jacuzzi which we didn't use. The spa was more convenient. Breakfast was not good but there are great places to eat very close. Service was not good either. Overall an enjoyable experience. Ogunquit has a great deal to offer. Room was very quiet and we could relax.

This is my 4 th time at meadowmere, each time I have chosen a different building. Unfortunately the beds in the south building, I was in a room in the 800 section was very uncomfortable. I love ogunquit and the people who reside there and will keep going back.

Our double queen room was spacious. Bathroom was a little on the small side but clean. Facilities were great including indoor pool, outdoor hot tub and Roman pools. Everyone working was professional and friendly. Would definitely recommend. Also just .3 mi into town walking is east! A gem!

The guests above me were loud and woke me up at 6am. It wasn’t quiet until 8am when they departed the room. I had an obstructed view. The shower door didn’t seal and a huge puddle of water leaked out. Otherwise the facility was fine and convenient to amenities.

Extremely disappointed!
We were disappointed. For the price, this was not up to par by far. Upon entering the room, there was a distinct unpleasant odor. We opened the screen door to the tiny patio and it fell off. We overlooked the closed pool that was discolored. Carpet worn and stained in several spots. The lights over the vanity were flickering like a strobe light, and the vanity is in the main part of the room, not in a separate bathroom area. We immediately complained and were told someone would be right over. No one ever came. Not acceptable!! We will never return.
