Terrible Host- Would not recommend
There were several problems with this property. The biggest problem is that the listing is inaccurate. When we arrived, there were 2 beds missing. There was not washer and dryer. The “fully stocked” kitchen was essentially empty. We brought this up with the host who only provided excuses about why this wasn’t her fault. She did bring bowls and measuring cups on the last day of our stay which was no longer helpful. The second major issue is safely concerns. When we arrived the door was not secured. The provided “unique” code did not work and we had to use the code that the last renters used. She then told us that the home was so bare because the last renters robbed her of all of her property. I did not make me feel safe using the second hand code as I was traveling with my newborn child. There were large knives wedged into multiple windows. There was a broken window with the glass secured by duct tape and another with a piece of glassing missing the size of my hand. As a result there were many flying bugs. The banister was falling down and appeared to be secured with a single long screw into drywall. Overall, the house was in a state of disrepair. None of the doors closed. Most of the fans did not work. There were missing cabinet doors. I would never stay here again and would not recommend staying. To make matters worse, the host was very difficult to communicate with and did not take responsibility for the issues with her home.
