Liked the staff and locality. However, the room was small and being charged for use of sunbeds on beach & not allowed to use sunbeds on hotel lawn, because they were reserved for the suites; was a gripe.

The hotel is practical to stay because it’s close to the airport. The hotel beach is very small but nice. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are big and clean but extremely noisy. Our room was on the first floor and had no window view, only windows to the hall, so we had to keep the curtains closed. People would drag their trolleys since 5 am which was extremely loud. One can hear whatever is happening upstairs because poor isolation. One very good thing is the shower to use in the spa once you’re checked out and spent the day at the beach. That room should have a lock tho.

Alles top, nur leider Frühstücksbuffer geringe Auswahl ( kein Hühnchen etc) und Kaffee aus dem Automaten. Dazu noch die Strandschirme für Hotelgäste 30€ am Tag könnte mann eventuell anpassen. Die Zimmer sind gut, die Isolation leider sehr schlecht man hört so ziemlich alles bei den Nachbarzimmern.

The food which we consume for lunch and dinner were charged to the room. No bills or confirmation how much the costs. The bills were given when we checked out. It will be better if the bills were acknowledged by us at the restaurant itself. Overall the staffs were very polite and helpful.

Sehr schöne und ruhige Anlage. Einziger negativer Punkt war dass die Liegestühle am Strand nicht inbegriffen waren und pro Tag 40 Euro gekostet haben. Ansonaten sehr zu Empfehlen.

Herlig atmosfære i vannkanten
Vi bodde på Pelican Beach Resort & SPA i fire dager i juli. Vi bodde i bygget som ligger helt nede ved stranden. Stedet har en herlig avslappet atmosfære. Renholdet er utmerket og personalet veldig hyggelige. Frokosten er utmerket og hagen er nydelig. Du må betale for solsengene på den private stranden (40 EUR per par inkl parasoll), noe som er greit å være klar over. Den offentlige stranden like ved er gratis. Det er ikke mange spisesteder eller butikker like i nærheten, men vi hadde leiebil og kjørte til Olbia eller oppover kysten, og det fungerte veldig fint. Et nydelig sted som vi mer enn gjerne besøker igjen.

The hotel was quite nice and the buffet breakfast was excellent. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. What I didn't like was that the weather was exceptionally hot and the tap water was undrinkable. The only source of drinking water was in the bar fridge and guests had to pay 2.5 Euros for a small bottle of water. There are no convenient stores or shops anywhere close to the hotel to purchase anything. A car is definitely required to see or do much.

I stayed at the Pelican Beach Resort in Olbia, Italy with my husband and we were immediately greeted, quick check in. The hotel has a restaurant, part of the hotel which is across the street from the front desk. The beach is also across the street. The breakfast was included in our stay. We had a complimentary late check out. The front desk reserved our taxi back to the airport. Overall, no complaints.

Lovely and relaxing
We had a great trip. The hotel was lovely, we were in the pelican villa part on the beach side. The gardens around the hotel and the restaurant were immaculate and the beach was lovely. the rooms were very clean and comfortable. Food in the restaurant was excellent and the staff were all very helpful. Probably the only small downside was location. There is a small supermarket near by and a couple of other restaurants that are walkable but other wise you need a car or taxi to get anywhere, taxis are very expensive min 35 euro for a trip into Olbia that is about a 10 min drive away. That said we were happy to stay at the hotel and enjoy the beach and relax. Would stay again.

I won't recommend it. Extra charge for beach chairs. For actual cup of coffee ( not from the breakfast area machine) If you eat on the grass area which is few feet away from the tables. Beds are hard.

Lack of Transparency
Writing review for others travelers to be “in the know” Hotel needs to be transparent with descriptions & 3rd party sellers. Call in advance to know exactly what hotel room your getting space, view, location, floor, stairs etc., sofa bed, lounge chairs so there are no surprises. Ask for bills as you go. Do not put the bill on the room and pay at the end, you may find surprise costs that were never mentioned. Ask if the spa is included w spa treatments, bc it’s not. Don’t accept anything “on the house” you may get charged for it. Felt Nickel and dimed. No shuttle to the airport. It’s a 40 Euro taxi the front desks calls. There’s not a shuttle to Olbia. It’s public transportation we missed bc we were never informed we needed a face mask. Be careful w hidden language & descriptions. Make a dinner reservation in advance or you may not get to eat. Ask what lounge chairs are included with your stay. Not all amenities are included, you may have to pay extra. Our massage was not good even though we asked for more pressure. Be on top of what your getting & not getting. However, the staff is nice and friendly. They try to accommodate their faults. The booker for excursions is wonderful. But cabs are very expensive to get to them during high season. The bartender is very nice & made great drinks. Although, we felt like we were getting ripped off, hotel hires nice staff to hide behind the lack of transparency. Hotel offered a meal which made up for lack of transparency.

Ikke verdt prisen
Hotellet har fin beliggenhet (gitt at man han rom med sjøutsikt) og hyggelig ansatte. Utover dette er hotellet overpriset relativt til tilsvarende hotell vi besøkte på Sardinia. Spesielt irriterende var at rommet vi bestilte var inkludert en spesifikk solseng pr person, men det de derimot ikke nevner er at disse ikke er plassert på og heller ikke ikke gir tilgang til hotellets private strand med mindre man betaler et tillegg på 40 Eur pr dag. Med andre ord får man tildelt en solseng på en plen uten bademulighet der stranden er adskilt med en glassvegg. Det samme prinsippet går igjen flere steder på hotellet. Blant annet må man betale ekstra for en kaffe og juice selvom frokost er inkludert. Anbefaler å velge et annet hotell der de øvrige 4 hotellene vi besøkte i løpet av reiser var langt bedre enn dette.

The best thing about this property is the staff. They are amazing. The reception personally walked us to our room and showed up everything. They gave us informatioj for boat rentals and even called us a cab when we needed it. The rooms are immaculate. Housekeeping is everyday even when it doesn't need to be. The restaurant has amazing, fresh food and superb service. They never let your water cup go empty. There's private beach access and a garden. The grounds are well kept and relaxing. This place is truly a hidden gem. Not crowded at all. I highly recommend this place. Of note it is adults only.

We truly enjoyed our stay. The location was conveniently located right on the beach and 10min away from downtown. The staff was exceptional. The restaurant and outdoor beach patio was breath taking. The bartender made amazing drinks and we would highly recommend it.
