'The hotel has only been open for 3 weeks, which is probably 6 weeks too soon!! The room was not finished - locks missing on bathroom door (just a hole waiting for the lock); no curtains or blind in the lounge area - the hot sun blazed in throughout the day and neighbouring rooms could see in, and finally, no air conditioning - the control panels are there, but not connected to anything. I REPEAT ... NO AIR CONDITIONING. The day was very sunny and very hot and the room could not be cooled down...

'We had a really lovely time staying at Hudson 5. The property is beautifully decorated and feels very welcoming as soon as you arrive. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well looked after, which made it easy to relax and enjoy our stay. The location was also a big plus, being so close to the centre and within easy reach of shops, restaurants, and everything we needed. It was the perfect base for exploring the area. Overall we had a great experience and would happily stay here again.'

'Perfect location for visiting York. Having its own parking is value in and of itself! The main windows do face the street and you can hear voices below all night long but it’s not enough to disrupt sleep. We had the room in the backside and couldn’t hear a thing. Would stay again!!!'
