NR / Beach! Voor alle juni en 1 week in juli!

Kom voor de lente uitjes! En de zomer-huur alle juni en juli en het grootste deel van augustus. Deze lichte en vrolijke Old Greenwich kust koloniale dat 13 in bedden slaapt (plus 2 op comfortabele banken, indien nodig) heeft veel karakter! Het beschikt over hardhouten vloeren, een diepe open haard met veel draw, 3 WIFI-netwerken, AC, multi-gezamelijke warmte, schotelnetwerkkabel, flatscreen-tv, veranda, zonnig of schaduwrijk terras, afhankelijk van het tijdstip van de dag met gas- en houtskoolgrills, een enorme tuin (zie foto's) voor alle buitenspellen, waaronder een basketbalring, super heldere familiekamer met dakramen en een grote speelkamer die uitkomt op de tuin. Apart kantoor niet inbegrepen.
Ik verzoek om een minimumverblijf van 2 nachten de meeste tijden van het jaar en ten minste een verblijf van 7 nachten in de zomer alsjeblieft.
Loop naar de stad en het strand en een zeer nabijgelegen baai om te vissen, zeilen, kajakken, paddle-board en de eenden, ganzen en zwanen te voeren. Je waterhond zal ook genieten van de baai. De trein naar Manhattan duurt 1 uur.
Ook is er een woonkamer met een klassieke stoel bij het raam en een diepe open haard in natuursteen met een grote aantrekkingskracht, glas-in-lood, een eetkamer met een enorme moderne zitplaats uit de midden van de eeuw, plus een tafel met 6 stoelen, een familiekamer met kathedraal plafonds en dakramen uit de keuken en een aparte wasruimte, Multi-zone verwarming en volledige airconditioning
Het huis is zeer volledig uitgerust met lakens, kussenslopen, koffers, dekens, handdoeken, servies, formeel en elke dag, glazen, bestek, 12-kop koffiezetapparaat, koffiepers, 4-delig broodrooster, veel, veel gerechten, serveren schotels, bestek, potten en pannen, mixer, blender, Cuisinart, fruitpers, ijsmachine, kruiden en alle soorten kookgerei en voedselbereidingen.
Dit is een zeer kosteneffectieve verhuur omdat het 13 gasten slaapt en er zijn geen kosten in aanvulling op de huur. Betaal met een creditcard en krijg airmiles.
Het aparte kantoor dat niet is inbegrepen, is waar ik verblijf als ik in Greenwich ben en gasten heb. Het is volledig self-contained met een eigen ingang en een kitchenette. Ik ben 79 en reis aanzienlijk.
Ik heb een aangepast annuleringsbeleid dat dat is. als gasten die hebben geboekt moeten annuleren, zal ik mijn best doen om ze te vervangen door hun termijn in mijn agenda te openen voor het boeken door een andere familie. En als ik succesvol ben in het vinden van andere gasten voor hun termijn, zal ik de familie geven die een restitutie van 100% heeft geboekt en geannuleerd.

Wonderful family reunion

We stayed at Jim’s home for a family reunion and had a wonderful time. The house is well equipped for large groups and has a great games room for pool, ping pong and a pinball machine. We enjoyed group dinners on the deck and everything was easy to find and as advertised in the listing. Jim was very helpful and proactively communicated to make sure we had all the information about the property as well as some free beach passes - thank you! We would definitely return to this property again.

We all really enjoyed our Christmas stay! The owner is very helpful, responsive and friendly. He even ordered a high chair and portable crib for the property so we could use it over the holidays.

Terrific location and yard - very basic accommodation

The house location, in one of the prettiest coastal towns in the NE, is perfect. The kitchen is well equipped, and the backyard is large and private. Jim, the owner, is extremely helpful and responsive to any fixable issues. The house interior is well worn which is not terrible, but it would have been useful to know there is only one small older bathroom for the four bedrooms on the second level - which was not great for us nor what we expected. Separately, the master has its own bathroom. The “third” bathroom is a small corner shower in the laundry room which is in the middle of the family/dining room and the “half” bath is in the unfinished basement with a strange sort of curtain arrangement. The photos of the house are not recent and the big bright room with sliders shown on the lower level now has beds, with little space and the outside is overgrown, making the room dark. We could not use this lower level which was disappointing. Jim’s accommodation does also have an outside entrance, but is within the house on the first floor, below the master bedroom and above lower level, and unexpectedly Jim was in the house for our entire stay. Not ideal, but we all love Old Greenwich!

Beautiful home for holiday!!

From start to finish, was an exceptional experience. We couldn’t have found a nicer place. The owner was extremely helpful with communication regarding the stay- all the necessary details and also really accommodating with check-in. Pleasing a grown family of 8 was not an easy task, but everyone really enjoyed the coziness and warmth of the home- and even though there was so much space we all came together in the bright family room and had the best stay. Each said they wanted to come back and rent this home again. The proximity to town and the beach was perfect. We had everything we needed and more! As I mentioned to the owner, it was so nice to see my young adults off of their phones and spending time together. The checkerboard table was a hit! Thank you again Jim!!

Large, spacious and great location

6 colleagues stayed here for a business trip! It was perfect in teens if size and location. A very old fashioned and classic home! The only negative I have is for a large house, it really requires a deep clean every 2-3 months if renting out. Some areas of the house were not great. Other than that no issues and very accommodating!

Old Greenwich gathering place

This is an absolutel lovely older home in a beautiful neighborhood. Large living room areas with a player piano to entertain us. Lovely deck and back yard. With 6 bedrooms, it was perfect for a family gathering while we attended a wedding. Next to the ceremony, being able to stay together and relax made all the difference to our stay. And a big Thank you for the beach passes, it allowed us to have a great picnic on the beach on a tight schedule.

Charming and Spotless Greenwich Getaway

We loved our stay in Old Greenwich! A group of us rented for the New Year's Weekend and it was perfect. It was super clean with a great kitchen with everything we needed to cook together. A charming fireplace and comfortable beds and furnishings. It has a huge back yard ( which our dogs loved ) and is in a beautiful neighborhood close enough to walk to the beach. This comfortable house had plenty of room for our family of ten. We liked having two sitting areas and enjoyed the living room fireplace. The kitchen had everything we needed for preparing many meals - including Thanksgiving dinner - for our large group and the dining room table accommodated us all. Clean and adorable!

The host, Jim was just amazing! He went out and bought special spices and extra virgin olive oil for us. He knew we were having a party to celebrate our mom turning 90 and had everything he could ready for us! The absolute best part was that he LET us have a party at his home. Many VRBO places turned us down because we were hosting a party on Saturday. We had a total of 15 family members joining us from as far away as Iowa, California and Maine! We were quiet and comfortable and grateful he let us have a family gathering.

Quaint, Quiet and Peacefull

We had an amazing time staying at this lovely home in Greenwich. It fit our needs perfectly. Large rooms with comfortable beds and AC when needed. We had 3 little ones under 3 years old and this house was great. Huge backyard for them to run and play and plenty of space inside for playing as well. Great kitchen with everything you may need to cook with. Neighborhood is very quiet and great to walk in. Big playground within walking distance and the beach is only a few minute drive and you could totally bike to it. Jim is a great host and responded promptly if we had any questions.

Excellent experience staying at Jim’s place. Perfect for our wedding weekend!

Jim was such a responsive and helpful host. The house was a perfect getaway and preparation spot for my wedding weekend. Jim responded within minutes both leading up and during my stay. He was endlessly accommodating and made th stay perfect. I would definitely rent again! The location is perfect for a stay in Old Greenwich with quick access to the beach, while also being close to 95 and central Greenwich.

Friends Enjoy Weekend in Old Greenwich

The house was lovely, clean, well-stocked, and comfy. The owner is nearby, and was responsive to our requests both prior to and during our weekend stay. Neighborhood is fascinating to drive through, with an eclectic array of architectural styles. Definitely a positive experience.
