Broken Promises, Can't Give a 5 Star Rating!
The house was smaller in size than the picture made it look. The house and property itself was fine. The floors were filthy, as tho it hadn't been touched since last year. The refrigerator did not operate correctly, causing us to have to throw out $200 in the food we bought. It took forever to get someone to come and fix it. The internet didn't work until a couple hours before we left for the airport. The front door was falling out of the frame. It took forever to get someone to respond as well as come to see the issues and then to get them addressed/fixed. No one met us there when checking in, as promised to us.We felt abandoned from lack of communication or concern for us. We spent a fortune eating out since we could not store food in the refrigerator. Sun Sands always promised to get back to us/notify someone of our issues, but mostly didn't respond. We were finally promised $160 credit for the spoiled food, but have not received it up to this time. We've been home for 2 weeks. We are exremely disappointed in the management of this rental. Someone should have done a walk-thru of this house before we got here, since an employee told us they were aware that the fridge was bad and blamed it on the cleaning lady not putting ice in the freezer, resulting in it plugging up and not cooling. then we would not have had to deal with the hanging front door, no internet/tv at all or no use of the fridge. Also it needs NEW beds and mattresses downstairs. Very old and uncomfortable!
